Project Appleseed will be hosting it's 2nd Annual Winter Rifle Marksmanship Clinic in the Mountains of Boone, NC February 7-8. These 2 day Clinics teach the fundamentals of Long Range Rifle Marksmanship. You will learn the skills necessary to make solid hits on a 22" target at 400 yards with any rack grade rifle. You will be taught the proper use of a sling to steady the rifle in prone, sitting and standing positions. Any skill level Marksman will learn something valuable from this program, from the 8 year old novice to the experienced hunter.

Additionally, since this is in the Mountains of NC in February, there is an excellent chance of winter conditions. Last year we had 6 inches of snow and below freezing weather. This makes for an incredible opportunity to work with your rifle under these adverse conditions in a safe environment! One thing you might learn is how to deal with snow fouling up your firing mechanism.

Cost is $60 for adults and $20 for kids less than 18

So join us at the Watuaga Gun Club February 7-8! Please see the following link to sign up for this event.
