Nice job.  Looks like the pic was taken in the hospital.  

 

As others have asked, how on earth does that happen?

 

I'll take a "stab" at it.  He had a failure to eject.  Reached in the breech to dislodge it, and the bolt carrier flew forward.  Que?

 

Edit:.  I take it back.  Don't think it could have driven it through the finger that way.

It does look like a 300BLK. The primer is unfired so it happened while he was hand loading (lol). I'm guessing he has a automated press and stuck his hand in there and instantly regretted it.

I bet he'd done it 100 times...

I thought just once looked like it would hurt, but 100 times? :rofl:
