No more Public Comment period?

Excerpt from that article:

Justice Samuel Alito said the Paralyzed Doctrine likely stemmed from fear that federal agencies were becoming too powerful and concerns that Congress was affording them too much lawmaking authority

Isn't she also saying the Supreme Court has way too much power and Congress is affording them too much power?

I'm not sure what this means for us and the 2nd Amendment moving forward.

Based on that article it means there will never be another comment period for anything the ATF plans on doing.  That M855 ban....expect it on a Friday afternoon in the next few weeks.

I think it means that the supremes are backing the congress in the corner, and forcing them to do their jobs... Congress has the power of the purse and can turn off any action any agency takes by turning off the dollars to it... That action is always based on public outcry...

Those knuckleheads in DC are expected by the people to do just that. Too bad they rarely if ever do.

Grand... One of the things that i think is happening now, is that more and more of the political class is gettin worried about keeping these cushy jobs... The populist movement with more and more people gettin sicker and sicker of the inaction of polititians will eventually force them to action...

There will be ignoramous and overbearing holdouts like McCain, and, to a lesser extent, people like Corker and Alexander who will be dragged along... Look at the turnaround in Alexander's behavior; and the turnaround in McConnell's behavior... They dont do all we think they should; but they cant get by with doing nothing... I think that is a good thing....

Here's hopin....

No. The Supreme Court doesn't get its power from Congress. It gets it from Article III, §1 of The Constitution of the United States of America which states "the judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish."
