Lifetime Permits?

Recommended Posts

I hate to encourage any sort of permit, because that is wrong, but Id rather pay once and have done with it if they insist.   That said, at some point, 750 is more than the rest of my life is gonna be...  if its actually 50 every 5 years, that is a lot of years to pay for and the bulk of gun owners are middle aged ... a great many people generally finish college before permit since you can't use it on campus anyway...    they need to offer a buy once that is age-based, so the older you are the less you would pay...   I don't need 100 years worth anymore...

Don't see anything about online renewal in the instructions, or in the links on the side.  The only website on my permit is tn.gov.  Unless they set up online renewals with this change to a 5-year length of permit, you should still have to go to the drivers center to renew.

I guess you are right. Sorry, I was thinking of the time when a coworker went online to update their change of address for the license and permit.

I got a senior, permanent hunting and fishing license for $11. Hard to figure that the CHL is that more valuable. Bad idea.

Yep, best deal I ever got. Anywhere.

You'd think if they were gonna offer lifetime carry permits, they'd do some sort of age-related pro-rated price break. Idiots.
