I am not well versed in the knife world, still trying to learn, but what makes the strider sng different than other folding knives?

They are built like tanks, and fit in your hand like a glove fit for you by a custom glove company. I carried an SNG for over 4 years and used it for everything at work offshore and when I was home, I lost it and did not buy another and wished that some day They would be automatic and be allowed to be legally carried by me and that day is near

Curious as to what you may have in mind design wise?

Next year you will see  it will be a while before I even know what options are available but it will be simple but very cool

Those of you that know me know that I have owned knifes ranging from $5.00 to a custom Ken Onion $2600.00 knife and in all honesty this Protech Strider SNG is the best folding knife I have ever owned. I have another coming and may not stop there, it is the perfect knife in my opinion, sometime next year I may do a TGO one but I will warn you all now there are not discounts on theses knives, the extra money in savings that can be had for group buys goes to Strider for payment, so everyone sells them for $400.00

The best I will be able to do next year will be to get them customized for us for that price, so this may be a very small run next year, I will say they are absolutely worth the $400.00, I have one and another on the way, I will say that the TR4 is now my 2nd favorite and a great deal Dave is giving us on them,

I should have the special one Wednesday or Thursday, I'll post pictures when it arrives

Strider

I'm curious.  What makes this one so much more expensive than the other Protech's like the TR4?

Strider knives are built extremely thick and beefy, the G10 is extremely thick as this model is the weight is heavier than other models, it costs Protech much more money to produce each one of them also Strider set the prices for these so Dave and company cannot sell them for less. I have a few custom Stainless Steel Protech knives that cost more than this that this knife compares to

Is it worth $400.00 to everyone? absolutely not but for me anyway this is a good deal as

it is the perfect pocket knife.
