I just got a Sig P226 Extreme.  I love this gun.  Check out the pics.

I had a great time at the range today.  Check pics of the targets.  The Sig target had 100 rounds into it.  The .45 had 50 rounds.

The IDPA target was primarily double action / single action double taps as fast as I could draw and shoot.

OK, so I did shoot my neighbor in the leg, but the most important thing is that I'm ok.  :pleased:

Sigs are great guns that I can intuitively shoot to my satisfaction.

Most enjoyable shot today:  Knocking off a hanging piece of red with my .45.

Most frustrating part of the day:  Taking about 30 shots at the top piece of red on the Sig target and never getting it off.

What a great day.  I mainly shoot at Nashville Armory.  They are about to go live with one of those state of the art training systems like the police and military use.  I guess it's a video game type deal - not sure how those work.

If you can pull it off, Sportsman's Outdoor Warehouse has the model I got for $749, free shipping.  This is the extreme model - has their special STR trigger, nice Hogue grips.  I would say they have all night sights, though I'm a bit confused about that at the present moment.
