This would have been the governor and Bill Gibbon's response, they already look at every person's ID entering the Capital, can't imagine them need anybody else to help do that, unless they start checking the members of the GA...

Yeah that fiscal impact is a lie.  There are a lot of states that you can carry in the state capital buildings or any state government building without it costing anyone anything.  These guys come up with an excuse for people with permits not carrying in XYZ location.  Then they come up with another silly reason on problems if we go to Constitutional carry and not make people buy permits.  You can't claim that people need permits but then not trust the people you give permits to.  Wasn't that the whole point of the permit was to check people wanting to be legal when carrying?

No, it was already out of committee, they can pass a law without funding it... and TDOS would just suck it up or not place the extra 'make work' jobs at the capital.

And thus, it would have died in this session...assignment to Fnce - where it either would never have been heard, or placed "behind the budget".

The "Intent" was to force it to fail with the Fiscal Note. My question, was it proffered before or after the vote in the Senate, had to be after, as the amendment was put on in session.
