Kel-Tec RDB

Another chain yanking joke from Keltec.
Might be an awesome rifle but their ability to fulfill demand is pathetic. I was rally wound up for an RFB hen they came out. Good, luck getting one. Only now do I see the KSG with decent availability.

I'll never understand why and how companies operate. Keltec has some of the coolest most innovative designs on earth. Why don't they prove these designs before hand AND build a decent inventory for the release date? I understand Keltec manufactures a lot of other things and guns are NOT their bread and butter but they could plan things much better.
This new bull pup looks great and I wouldn't mind having one but I won't hold my breath on the shelves being stocked. What few make,it out will be snatched fast. For the longest time the sub2000 was unobtanium. This one will be too I think.

Good luck to you though. Please do post a review with lots of pics if you manage to scoop one up.

I know that it is going to be a while before they are released to the public, but I'm kind of excited about the RDB. It may be the American Tavor. Plus the downward ejection is just cool.

The sample at the Keltec booth in the recent NRA convention was really nice. Felt great, and shouldered well for me. I like bullpup designs generally, but haven't found one I'd keep yet.

Simple, marketing strategy. They do this to control their own supply and demand. The production doesn't ramp up and you keep producing stuff at your same ol' pace and you create a perpetual demand for your product, especially one with such a high demand. Hence why even today the Sub2000 fetches $100 over its MSRP.

Yeah Harley Davidson pulled that crap years ago. Almost slit their own throat.
It's a fair strategy until you piss off your customer base.

I agree with Caster, I will not play Kel-Tec's game any more. They come out with some guns I would like to have, but what good are they if you can't get one? Unless you want to pay 3x the msrp.

Good luck to all looking to get one.

I shoot left eye on my left shoulder, and I'm pretty intrigued at the ejection concept. I have been close a couple times on a Tavor, but want other folks to be able to use it too... we'll see.
