RK Gunshow Tomorrow Oct 10-11 Nashville TN Fairgrounds

Wow that is interesting, maybe a separate thread should be created drawing attention to this policy change.

I do believe the business can only enforce this policy upon private tables, but not individuals walking the aisles amongst themselves and the ones that stalk outside the business in the parking lot.

I'm sure the city's attorney would argue that it's not a recreational venue, or at least it isn't for things like the gun show, the flea market, etc. Then it's a place of business. Of all the crazy things they've said about real parks, this is the one place/event they may have a point.

John & Joe want to make a deal. They take their gun(s) out to their vehicle, sit there & close the deal. Who's to know?

You know John & Joe shouldn't have to follow the drug deal playbook.  If its legal, then its legal in open public or inside a car.

Agreed, they shouldn't have to, but we all know how far left Nashville is. No surprise they pounce upon a perceived opportunity. Not only the gun issue, but also

they have been wanting to bulldoze the fairgrounds for their developer froends for quite some time. 2 birds with one rock, with some luck.

Very thankful I don't live in Davidson Co.

With our new mayor, she'll want to bulldoze it to put up sustainable-urban-affordable-farming-transportation-housing or some such.

Actually it was a decent show. Different vendors than Goodman and two rooms vs one. The private dealers agreed to do background checks. It was not applicable to the walk-around-what-ya-selling crowd. I ended up trading a Nightforce scope that came on a rifle I bought here for a US Optics that had more power and better parallax. I was happy with the deal. I didn't spend too much time there. A couple hours yesterday and ran back today for 15" to do the scope deal. Didn't see any guns that tempted me, but there was a very nice factory lettered nickel Colt SAA in 44-40 walking around. If it had be 357 or 45 Colt, might have jumped as the man seemed willing to deal. A renickeled SW hand-ejector that one guy thought was a prize. I'll go back just cause it's close and worth a afternoon.
