Federal court of appeals upholds New York SAFE Act as constituional.

Welll maybe if the white liberals who give just enough support for the gun grabbers to be elected and contribute most of the money spent some time in memphis, birmingham or jackson they would change their liberal ways real quick.

Freaking makes me sick. On top of that the anti-gun party is the same party that often is soft on crime and anti-cop.

Scary stuff.

Sad... and maddening!

I always throw stuff like this up when folks say doesn't matter who's president.

SCOTUS is ever so barely currently "for" gun rights (and even Scalia has opined that perhaps not every type gun is guaranteed by 2A).

But imagine the changes the next four (and probably eight) years will bring in the court's makeup, with about half of them likely to leave by then.

Though it's not a sure bet exactly what overall tone a court with 2-4 more appointed by a Republican prez, it's a damn sure bet what tone it'll be if same is done by a Dem like Hillary or Bernie or even Uncle Joe. It'll go so far left you'll need a 10x optic just to see it at all.

All true, but I feel as if getting a Republican in there for the next SCOTUS nominee is only delaying the inevitable.

Don't you agree though that it's that sort of apethetic thinking that gave us two terms of obama? I may not like everthing about the candidate that I vote for, but this country can't afford Hillary, Bernie or Joe. I will vote against them. Edited by Wingshooter

I wouldn't classify my statement as being apathetic; more like hopeless. The leftist media is winning the hearts and minds of the masses due to distribution of misinformation to people too stupid or lazy to think logically.

I do my part. I'll hold my nose and vote for whomever is less of a fascist and seeks to usurp the Constitution the least out of the two candidates who make it to the election. Or maybe that's how we got here in the first place?

Apathetic though? Absolutely not. I'm just looking at things realistically.

I didn't mean to call you apathetic. Sorry if I misunderstood. I just hear a lot of people say it doesn't matter if we get a dem or repub in office. I think it does matter. Although, they're all politicians and talk out of both sides of their mouth.

One major difference in the parties is the Liberals are determined and stick to their guns for the most part, like the the vote yesterday that stonewalled the Sanctuary City defunding bill in the Senate in favor of illegal aliens. They are the minority but due to the way the voting rules are set up, the left stuck together and stopped the bill from going forward with a 54-45 party line vote. The bill required 60 votes to move forward and the 55 member Republican majority couldn't even get that. 99 vote total and I don't know who didn't vote, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

I do. There are many who said "I am going to write in ron paul" I said how many democrats who dont like Obama are writing in someone? They dont see the throwaway vote as a vote for obama, but it has the same effect.  if 10 people decide the president and 4 vote liberal ( despite differences) and 3 of the 10 vote conservative candidate and the other two vote for another conservative candidate who wins? What would be better for the 6 who did not want hte choice of the four?

If only states still had some say in vetting voters.

I think scalia was probably talking about machine guns and the argument the liberals always make "some people should have nuclear bombs". I agree with the premise though. The thing is that many liberals think, for example, the south was just fighting for slavery during the civil war. We fought just for that reason. I disagree, but if that were true what do they think would happen to protect our guns? I do think there would be issues and the powers that be are probably aware. Especially when they are letting illegal invaders and refugees that were probably celebrating when the towers were hit in.

yes liberals all stick together. The most difference in opinion is on the right. Most have not heard DINO but the word rino is heard all the time. That makes me think the right is more impartial and less partisan. Also look at the supreme court. We always know how the left will vote. The repulican justices at least make us guess how they will rule.

Look for that 60 vote rule to change if dems take the senate back and have teh house and presidency again . No doubt about it as they are sore losers and beleive in taking their ball and going home.
