Knox Gun Show Still On For This Weekend?

Recommended Posts

I see the one in Paris has been cancelled due to weather but nothing yet on Knoxville.  I would assume it's still going on.  Bet there won't be much of a line out front tomorrow morning. Might be a good time to find a deal.

You assume vendors will be there?  How many tables with goods must be present for you to feel good about your gate fee.  1, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500?

Considering there's no refunds for vendors even if there's bad weather, I'd say some will be there.  Maybe later than 9am but if not tomorrow then Sunday.

The roads here are really bad. It's been snowing since before 9:00 this morning & we now have about six inches on top of what was already there. The city said they aren't treating or scrapping it this weekend so I'm staying home. It's movies & video games with the wife & kids this weekend.  :waiting:

The city isn't doing anything about the roads and they actually put that out to the press? Holy crap, who's their lawyer

Was real slow there today (Sun.), but there was excitement when some idiot threw some type of explosive device out of a car driving around the far side of the pond...sounded like tannerite going off..it shook the ground...was definitely bigger than any store-bought firecracker. I was standing outside. People came out of the building to see what it was.

While Knoxville did not get the snow that was predicted, everywhere else around us did.  I help a vendor who always has 3 tables.   My guess would be that about 20% of the vendors did not show up.   The crowd was off on Sat, but we did a respectable amount of sales.  Not great, but much more than we expected because of the weather.  We had high expectations for Sunday with a sunny 40 degrees, but it did not happen -  it was slow.   Seemed like the Sunday shoppers were more casual strollers than the more serious shoppers that got out on Sat.

There was a fishing show at the Expo - maybe it drew some of the attendees over there?
