Used pistol  Manufacture year was 2000 - picked this up today and it's my first Hi-Power. I really like the bluing and there is not a scratch or  blemish to be found. It appears to have been shot very little so much so that internals look new as well. Came with just one mag and I ordered another today. I don't have a trigger gauge to tell me lbs, but this trigger is very smooth and crisp and feels the 5-6 lb range. I'll post a range report next week when I can get to the range.  Cheers!

Nice. Just a bit different then the ones made in Belgum in the 1970's throut 1980's insofar as the adjustable sights and safties go. I once had a Made in Belgium Browning Renisicance Model Hi-Power with the adjustable sights. Factory satin nickel, gold plated trigger...gorgeous...I didn't have the heart to shoot it and traded it off to a collector.

Does it still have the magazine safety operational? I notice the pin is in it. My trigger really came around when I installed a hardened CNC sear and disconnected the magazine safety. You can put the pin back once you have it out. These are fine handguns and shoot excellent. Sunfish

YOu have to be careful with sears on Hi-Powers. The trigger mechanism is a fairly tight/specific fit. It is very easy to wind of up with a dangerous firing situation.

mag safety is still operational. Still deciding if I should remove it or not?

Take the mag safety out. It will be like performing a trigger job in terms of weight and smoothness of trigger pull. I also highly recommend one of the C&S Combat Triggers.
