So here is my opinion on this flashlight. Overall Quality -  Not to bad.  Is it a tank, no but I think it will stand up to better than average use. Brightness - Absolutely incredible.  I am

Here's a pic, the trees in this are about 50 yards from where I am standing.  The barn is at least 300 yards away, on the opposite side of my neighbor's cow field.  It would go much further, I just do

yeah that's what makes this light strange... you can see it is literally as bright out at 300 yards as it is at 50 yards.  I guess it's some ancient chinese voodoo or something powering the light.

I didn't need this style light (was tempted) but the thread got me thinking that I really needed a more powerful small light for the night stand and doing a little searching I found and bought this one (Anker LC90), also $30. Very bright at 900 lumens, plenty bright to blind an intruder if needed and small enough to be easy to carry.  I have a larger and brighter light hanging by the door but it is to big to use in an invasion situation accept as a weapon. I see the Anker is currently out of stock.
