I took the HCP class and loved it...

I went with my friend, on here known as looney102, to the HCP class at RangeUSA in Bartlett. The class was taught by Chip. We had a blast. A class of about 45 there was about 5 or 6 ladies, me being the youngest. I shot 97 on the range and made 97 on my test, so much better than I thought I'd do. looney102 shot 99 on the range and also 97 on test. It was fun having someone to compete with. Its going to be a lil bit before I get my Permit due to money right now but Im definately looking forward to getting it then finding the right gun to carry...

That sounds like a large class with 45. That could be intimidating. Ours had 12, I think. I'm glad, as well as others, you took the step up to be able to defend yourself. Now, if I could just talk the powers that be to let my daughter take the class.
