Pros:
|
Nice storefront, large selection, friendly staff, good prices.
|
|
Cons:

A bit of a drive for Nashville residents, but worth it.

This past Saturday my wife and I visited Guns and Leather in Greenbrier. A friend had dealt with them in the past and was very pleased with his experience, and we had heard that they were doing some special promotions with a Smith & Wesson rep on site.
Our experience was very good. The storefront is clean, well lit and well stocked. They had a large array of firearms representing practically every major manufacturer. I spot-checked availability of a few different popular handguns and they were all present and priced fairly.
The staff was courteous and professional, and on Saturday they were pretty much overwhelmed by the number of patrons. People were literally stacked two deep at the counters! I was told that this wasn't always the case and that the specials and promotions they had this weekend were to thank for that... but I'm sure it was a great problem to have.
The thing that is really worth mentioning is again how courteous the staff was even in light of the massive tide of customers pressing against them. The staff were all very willing to stay with you, show you whatever you wanted to see, and did not pressure us to make a decision or get short with us regardless of how many different firearms we asked to see.
This won us over and we spent $1100 on two new handguns before we left.
I'll gladly make the drive from Nashville to Greenbrier again. Good service like this is hard to find!

Nice staff & selection. Prices ok -some can be low or high

Cons:

A trek for many of us, crowds often hurt service
|
|
Been there MANY times, am a member of their range, and purchased most of my firearms from them. Also took my carry permit class from them. They support local FoNRA dinners as well.
Dont let them lie to you! It is ALWAYS crowded there! Between lookers, range users, legit customers, etc, they are busy. They are busy for a reason however. A good shop run by good people. I encourage a visit. If you can go during the week, it will not be nearly as crowded. Look for me on the range!

Pros:

Great staff, good selection, nice environment, great indoor range
|
|
Cons:
|
At times it's quite crowded.

I've purchased there in the past and have always been treated fairly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's an environment where your wife and family will feel comfortable.
But it's a pretty good drive from Nashville and not really on the way to anywhere unless you're heading up to Springfield.

They are at the top of their game. As others have posted, they are very popular and always busy. Great inventory on pistols, rifles, AR's and shotguns. Decent selection of used rifles and firearms. Twenty minutes from downtown Nashville.
