    Mk.2 model 0 used 30.06 barrel with chamber insert to be able to take shorter 7.62/.308 round. Did not work out because insert would not stay in chamber reliability after trying several attempts. Mk.2 model 1 used a dedicated 7.62 barrel installed on the receiver. Most all of the other parts worked with the addition of a spacer block to keep from loading the 30.06 round.
