  2. Got my cards from CCW Safe yesterday. I guess now I am a new member with CCW. I had looked at their plan and considered it but had been a member with ACLDN since its inception in 2009. At that time there were only two plans, and one was with the NRA (Locton Insurance Co backed) and really not a very good plan. NRA was a reimbursement plan meaning you had to foot the bill first, then if they deemed it a worthy self-defense case, they would give you the money back you spent. That does not work well considering a self-defense can take much money up front to form and put forth a good case to defend yourself in a court of law. First one needs bail to get out of jail. ACLDN provided up front solutions/money to begin with and paid as time went along for the long haul. There were 22,000 members at Armed Citizens. I was member number 942, and they had around 5 million in the pot to cover self-defense cases of their members. I think they helped 30 some odd people during the time they were in existence and not one complained. CCW Safe is an excellent alternative to my former membership in ACLDN, IMO. Edited to add; I hope and pray I never need CCW's services but plan to explore their system in the future.
  3. Son is out of town on their last vacation before school starts. Hotter days starting Monday, try to get to his house before and finish shooting by noon. See what tent or cabin weekends we can plan in the fall.

  12. It's 2025 and I can't believe that anyone still questions the practicality of a dot optic on a handgun. Iron sights can fail too.
  13. Not sure how long ago this happened but what used to be 2 big rooms is now 1 big room and sold out. I hope RK can find a bigger place. Anyone got any ideas for a rental venue for a big show in Murf or parts SE like Shelbyville, Tullahoma or Manchester?
  14. Not interested in any trades, thanks.
