  3. The Ruger RXM is basically a Glock. If you don't like Glocks, you're probably not going to like the RXM. The M&P M2.0 with the new flat-faced trigger feels pretty good. At this point in my life and my journey as a student of the gun with nearly 40-years of near constant shooting under my trigger finger, I will say that I really don't think trigger feel matters as much as anyone says it does outside of dry-firing. So long as the trigger isn't absurdly heavy or doesn't have massive pre-travel or over-travel, everything else is just what it is. What people should care most about are reliability, fit to their hand, and ergonomic comfort.

  5. The CT doesn't take 2 hours. We started at 7:30 am when the door was opened. Check in, lab work, Sit in a small room after injection for an hour to relax then the CT. Was released at 9:25. Everything moved like organized clock work. Yesterday I got to West clinic at 10 am, lab work first. A visit with the doctor was next. I was given the printed report from Monday's Petz scan. "Negative study for metastasis" The cancer is pretty much cleared. I didn't have to take the infusion or wear the pump home. Return visit in 3 weeks. May go on a pill if needed. A stop at Sportsman's Warehouse for a carton of Cheddite 209 primers, Dang, they are moved from the shelves to the gun display. The $47.99 price is now $79.99. I'll be watching online for a better deal. We celebrated the end, we hope to the infusions by ordering dinner at Texas Roadhouse. The 200 410 primed hulls were delivered while I was gone. Dinner wasn't good for me, couldn't eat half of it.

  10. For sale is a near mint, lever action Winchester m94 45 Colt. Trails End, octagon barrel with angle eject receiver. Made in the USA. I purchased the rifle new, in the early 2000’s just before the New Haven plant closed. It stayed in the box until a few months ago. I’ve put maybe, 25 rounds thru it. It comes with the original box, promotional literature, and a side mounted hammer spur for scope use. All came with the original purchase. I’m also including a set of original Winchester scope mounts. Asking $1000 OBO *SOLD*

  12. Agree with BigK , these are some of the best shooting pistols, esp with a few mods! The one I have is hands down the best shooter I've ever had of any pistol type or brand. @wmailhos - they do not come from the factory optics ready.

  16. I am fully aware of all state and local laws (as draconian as they are) as well as the FFL transfer process. I plan to cover the any shipping/fees involved as well. In this case, I will simply ask the seller not to ship the magazines with extended base plates. The standard (10) capacity mags are unfortunately the limit in NJ.

  24. Try firing the primers a second time while it's still in the chamber. If they fire the primer isn't seated, you're driving the primer deeper into the pocket then it fires. I have that problem on my musket. Primers have different heights, Fed .117, CCI .118, Rem .119, Win .121. 25. Thanks for the info. I saw this video and wondered if there were actually genuine plans to bring it here to the US, but HK higher ups in Germany are just keeping it under wraps based on their own timeline and rollout plans:

  32. Unfortunately S&W's performance Center ain't what it used to be. They once turned out finely tuned custom guns. Now, you get something a bit fancier than the stock guns, but they really aren't much better.

  37. I have this identical double barrel cork gun. I bought it off eBay a few years ago. My attention is to put it in a gun rack in the back window of one of my antique pickup. Another one of those "round to it" projects.

  40. Tan Tucktec folding kayak. Sit in type. Stores very well. Includes hay bail net that I store it in. Heavy stitched nylon strapped bag used to feed horses in trailers. Perfect for storing the kayak vertically. It's about 40lbs with carrier. No paddle included. I set it up. Used it once. It was fairly stable and I carried it around for awhile. Only for a chance to use it that one time. Been sitting in the garage since. 480 612 3085 for more pics or to express interest. ds_sierra@live.com
