  1.        Bill and Hillary are at a Yankees home game, sitting in the first row, with the Secret Service people directly behind them. One of the Secret Service guys leans forward and whispers something to Bill. At first, Clinton stares at the guy, looks at Hillary, looks back at the agent, and shakes his head "no". The agent then says, "Mr. President, it was a unanimous request of the entire team, from the owner of the team to the bat boy." Bill hesitates...but begins to change his mind when the agent tells him the fans would love it! Bill shrugs his shoulders and says, "Ho-Kay! If that is what the people want. C'mere Hilly baby..." With that, Bill gets up, grabs Hillary by her collar and the seat of her pants, lifts her up, and tosses her right over the wall onto the field. She gets up kicking, swearing, screaming, "Bill you"!$#@&!". The crowd goes absolutely wild. Fans are jumping up & down, cheering, hooting and hollering, and high-fiving. Bill is bowing, smiling and waving to the crowd. He leans over to the agent and says, "How about that; I would have never believed how much everyone would enjoy that!" Noticing the agent has gone totally pale, he asks what is wrong. The agent replies, "Sir, I said they want you to throw out the first "pitch."

  19. Funny you would mention this. I started work on one last night. I'm working off one of the blanks Tricky mentioned. I got mine off amazon... not this one, but very similar... stem and bowl are already drilled, lets me focus on making it pretty. http://www.amazon.com/Tobacco-Pipe-Briar-Wood-Block/dp/B009SYZN7E

  20. I used to collect pipes and made a couple. back then you could get a kit at larger tabac stores. The best Briar comes from Sardinia, Italy. It sounds like you have all the equipment to make one. A couple of sharp knives will also be useful. Just try it out on some scrape wood first. And remember there are no two free hand pipes the same.

  21. Used to be able to buy burl pipe blanks from ebay and some wood suppliers. I would take a look online to get an idea what the blanks look like and is be willing to bet you could about take it from there as far as the crafting goes. Getting the bowl cut proper looked trickier than it looked if that makes sense, but doable. I used to have a good book on pipes that went through construction and materials, I'll take a look for it but I dont remember seeing it for a few years.

  22. I have tinnitus and other ear and hearing problems!  We shoot at an indoor range.  I understand the problems your wife has with the concussion from guns! I have the same problem. I hated having to shoot next to a lane with a .40 cal or larger or shooting our .357 mag.. I could feel every shot they fired or I fired from the .357.  I first had to use double ear protection.  I used Howard Leight MAX Lite Foam Ear Plugs Uncorded NRR 30 plus ear muffs. That worked great, but with my hearing problems I couldn't hear the people I was shooting with when they were trying to talk to me.  So I found Walkers EXT Range Shooting Folding Muffs.  I didn't need the ear plugs, but still couldn't hear anyone talking to me.  A friend suggested electronic ear muffs.  I tried and returned a few pairs. I finally found Howard Leight by Honeywell R-01902 Impact Pro Electronic Shooting Earmuffs.  They work perfectly.  I don't need to use ear plugs with them, and I don't feel the other guns on the range or the lager guns I am shooting, and I can hear other shooters conversations over 5 lanes away.      I may not help your wife's problems but it fixed mine!   http://www.amazon.com/Walkers-Range-Shooting-Folding-Muff/dp/B00AW5YFOK   http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-R-01902-Electronic-Shooting-Earmuffs/dp/B007BGSI5U

  27. I have used a Noveske Pig in the past, and it worked excellent. Currently I have a Troy Claymore on my rifle & I'm loving it. Any linear comp should do exactly what you're needing it to do...

  29. Do you reload? If so a .300 is a great option I'm surprised hasn't been brought up. If you you reload and you should be able to make some subsonic rounds that will be easy on the ears even without a suppressor.

  30. I have all three of the linear comps below, all are designed to help redirect the muzzle blast forward and you can buy all 3 for less than the price of the Noveske flaming pig. None of them are the exact same thing, but I think for what you want they would be perfect options.  All are good cheap choices you can try and they won't break the bank, but of my money the kinetic-tech are by far the best value.       http://www.kineti-tech.com/muzzle-brakes-2/ This is my favorite out of the 3 for a few reasons. Primarily its ability to pull double duty as a comp and blast director. It's pretty light weight so throwing it on a rifle barrel won't be a big deal. The machining and finish are good quality and the price is pretty good for all that you get. I'll be buying a second one of these eventually.     http://www.kakindustry.com/kak-industry-flash-can The KAK can is a good option for redirecting sound, but it has a big drawback as well in that it is heavy. I have mine on a 7.5" barrel and it handles great, but I wouldn't put it at the end of a carbine or rifle, too nose heavy. It is very robust however. They make a slimmer version now to cut back on weight, might be worth looking into.   http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/barrel-parts/compensators/levang-linear-compensator-prod5594.aspx   Last but surely not least is the humble Levang. I actually really like this little guy. Relatively light, streamline-ish design and super super simple. I have had best luck with this one throwing it on the end of a 20"rifle to just "smooth" up the shooting experience. It's a good product but the finish is lacking. Ipainted mine t match the barrel so no big deal for me but YMMV,

  31. Build or buy a 9mm carbine. Prices are really low on them right now. I recently seen a "kit" that had everything but the stripped lower for $550. That is what I did for my wife when she didn't like the concussion of a 223.   It is also a lot cheaper to shoot and a lot more reliable.

  35. try a flaming pig, I don't have one but the utube videos that I have seen shows that they seem to work well KAK makes one and from what I recall not very expensive and I think you can find them on ebay as well as amazon. Good luck!!

  39. I finally built my TGO upper/lower set! I went with a pistol (for now) in 300 Blackout. I still need to tweek a couple of things (need a riser for the red dot, need to trim the foam pad back, etc.), but it's ready to function check. -8.5" bbl -8" SLR Rifleworks handguard -BCM BCG -BCM large charging handle -Magpul MOE grip (originally FDE painted black). I will replace this with a K2+ -cheap ($20) red dot from eBay. I wanted to make sure I liked this setup before I replace it with a Better one -YHM 1/2" mini riser on order -A set of generic BUIS I had laying around. I'll replace these at some point -I'll have to trim the foam pad back a little because it interferes with the CH -Kenti-Tech muzzle brake / redirect. http://www.kineti-tech.com/kineti-tech-muzzle-brake-with-sound-redirect-with-13-16-x-16-threaded-sleeve-2-piece/ -I plan to suppress it in time

They are also sending a Doctor and Nurse to flly all the way to Nashville, Then I may have to be taken straight to Vanderbilt to see my new Cardiologist,   The nice thing about this is that my company spares no expense when it comes to my health and Happily they are picking up the tab for everything this may turn into   I am truly Blessed,
