This.^ I usually do something similar on Tuesday nights, but I wait to get in the privacy of my own home. At least now that they dropped the charges from the last time I took a Tuesday night out on the town I don't have to go 'introduce myself' to my neighbors the next time I move.

If you have ever had to make payroll, you'll get it. If you have ever had to make out P&L statements, you'll get it. If you ever had the Gooberment stick their hands in everything your small business does, you'll get it. Higher wages should be based on merit (merit = hard work) not the over reaching hand of the Gooberment.

The minimum wage is a half assed solution as it stands Again, you clearly are using emotion instead of facts and logic in your thinking. Minimum wage was never a basis for a living but then we never had a society that didn't want to work like they don't now. When you can't hire someone because you pay to much and they don't want to lose their Obama care and EBT then the safety net is to broad. If you get only a GED or high school diploma, have a minimal attendance rating and don't care but seeing how much you can NOT do in 12 hours (yes our shifts are 12 hours, built in OT, shocking)....then you deserve to earn 10 bucks an hour and better learn to live on it. Yet these same folks have smart phones and drive adequate cars. Something ain't right but its not the minimum wage. You keep doing your M-F. You'll either figure it out or you won't.

Yes it was a group class taught by a blacksmith at his farm in the Dickson County area. We went over some terminology and tools then were shown some techniques. Everyone made a simple wall hook and learned a lot in the process. I'm going back for an introductory knife making class and will probably take his Intermediate and advanced classes. Theses aren't difficult classes as they only show you enough to get off to a good start and understand what's happening in videos and informational books. Anyone interested shoot me a PM and I'll provide a link. Otherwise google blacksmithing classes in TN or the state you live in. This is a perfect husband and wife, father and son or daughter experience too by the way so do give it a try.

This is an incredible value. imho, having standards, whether an agency’s or your own, is the only sensible and realistic way we can gauge or measure our progress…and these “quals” are fun and a challenge to shoot as well! I thought after the minimum wage, fair market determined pay? If a business can't get or keep workers at a particular wage, they have to raise the wage to fill it or they go out of business. I am the only one in my family of 5 that is not in business for myself. Minimum wage is just that, minimum. My family will pay what they have to to get a job filled. I don't understand why the Gooberment should have to get involved in the pay, they manage to F up everything they regulate.

Yeah, I think I took a few years off my life with that period of time and the schedule but it needed to be done. Needed more money, wanted some more guns too. Went to work.

Finally was able to get mine mounted and sighted in today. It's going to take a little getting used to. Zeroing it is a piece of cake. One or two shots and you're done. The night vision is really good if you have a decent illuminator. The light that comes with it is just so so. Lots of settings and do dads to fool with. We'll see how it pans out.

I've followed football my entire life until this year. I saw all those dipsticks sitting on their arses during the National Anthem and lost interest. It's their right but I'm not supporting it either. Haven't watched but a couple of minutes of football all season and find I survived just fine so I'll be doing something else when the Super Bowl comes on.

Starbucks deserves props here. And, I say that as someone who has seen them hire individual veterans that I've known in transition, and ones I've been privilleged to meet through programs like Room In The Inn. There will always be mental health issues that will contribute to homelessness issues. But, if every big company had the commitment to hiring veterans that Starbucks has, we'd have a much smaller problem than we currently have. Your care for one group doesn't have to exclude another one.
