  1. Wow.....Only in Southside AL....You will not believe what just happened.. I walked into 7/11 to get a drink When I walked up I noticed these 2 officers watching some dude who was smoking while pumping gas.. I saw him & thought, "This guy didn't have much common sense & was he stupid ?!! With the cops right there too?!" But anyway, I went in and got my drink. As I was checking out, I heard someone screaming.. I looked outside and the dude's arm was on fire! He was swinging his arm and running around going crazy! I ran outside and the cops had put him on the ground and were putting the fire out with their coffees!! YES, THEIR COFFEES!...Then they put handcuffs on him and threw him in the police car.. I was thinking "He shouldn't have been smoking near the pump while getting gas!" But being the nosy person that I am, I asked the cops what they were arresting him for.. The cop looked me dead in my eyes and said ... "WAVING A FIREARM!"

  3. I like this idea a lot. In fact we could make it a TGO team effort. Everyone offers a suggested response, then the OP picks the one he likes best and replies, then posts their response.

  5. The Shield is a BUG with the flush base mags. With the 8 round mag it is a CCP. Two IDPA divisions for the price of one....., what a deal!

  6. The Tin Foil Hats aren’t going to go along with that; they don’t want their name put in a computer when they are buying a gun. They don’t even want to sign a bill of sale on a private sale. I don’t care one way or the other about background checks. But I think they are here to stay. I just think the failure rate of the TBI is too high and they need to be taken out of the picture. I also think if the state wants them; that’s fine, but they need to be free. They serve no purpose other than giving some folks a warm fuzzy feeling and helping some legislators try to convince their followers they are doing all they can. Common sense tells us that they will not keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Now how about some real legislation; making Tennessee the next Constitutional Carry state.

  8. He sends you fake check, you cash it, if the bank doesn't immediately catch it you think it's good, he then asks for $50 payment to the "FFL/Agent" in the form of Credit Card, Amazon Gift Card, Bank Account, Western Union, etc. Bank takes $600 back from you since it's fake, you sent actual money to him, he wins. Obviously it could get expensive for anyone providing CC or Bank Account information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Send me your SSN, with name and DOB and I'll call his $100 and raise $100 Did I read correctly, "the FFL will show at your house..." Strange and potentially dangerous, but convenient.

  10. They are perfectly legal as is. But file a Form 1 and you can turn it into a legal silencer, or wait on the Hearing Protection Act.

  11. I would vote for that, and would use it. I rarely sell a gun to somebody I don't know. I have no desire to sell one to a criminal.

  12. Screw all that, why is there so much infringement on the 2nd when the 1st can be as, or more, dangerous than the 2nd? I don't support background checks, none period. Instead of hassling EVERY law abiding citizen when buying a gun, why not a list of those not allowed to buy guns such as the no-fly list? If they run your ID and you are not on a list, no background check and no fee. If you are on a list, by name, then a background check to make sure it is you that can't purchase one and not someone with your name. BTW, it should be by court order that your name appears on said list, not by some random organization and no adjudication. Hassle the criminals, make it a harsher sentence if they are caught using weapons for crimes, or in possession if not allowed to have one. At this point though, I do think it should be an option to have access to TICS, for those that want the extra security blanket when selling a gun in a personal transaction, but not made mandatory. And, instead of having us pay a fee to use TICS, it should be free because it is an infringement on our rights. If the state wants to infringe, then it should cost them to do so, not having us pay for that "privilege"

  13. Hi, this is Ben Schade's wife. We have moved to Missouri to be closer to our son and family. Ben does have stage four prostate cancer, but he is doing well. He is not doing any gunsmithing. He enjoyed his time in Tennessee and loved his customers. He always tries to do good work. Right now, he is building me a house.

  14. Sure you can. It’s a crime to carry a loaded gun in Tennessee. You and I are part of a “Special Group” so we can carry. The FEDS decided LEO’s are a “Special Group”; so they can carry. I don’t believe my right to carry comes from the 2nd amendment and I am a firm believer in States Rights. The Feds can’t tell you that you can carry in another state unless that state agrees. If you believe they can; then they can tell you that you can’t carry at all. The SCOTUS has recently ruled you have a right to keep arms. They haven’t ruled that you have a right to bear arms, but they have indicated the direction they would go. Until the SCOTUS rules everyone in the country can strap on a gun and walk down the street; the Feds need to stay out of it.
