  1. Karma has been quite good to me lately, so I'm just looking to pass some down the chain. I'll be moving into a new apartment in a few weeks, and it already comes with a washer & dryer. So, instead of putting what I have no into storage, I figure I would bequeath it to an individual or family that can get some use from it. They're not the latest models, about 10yrs old in fact, but they still work just fine and I've never had a problem. Instead of them just sitting in a garage for years on end, I'd like these to go to someone who would actually need it...a family just starting out on their own, someone who can't afford one and has to go to a laundromat despite hookups in their place, something like that. If you know of anyone who would fit the bill, or can find someone through your social circles, church group, or other networks, please let me know. I'll be ready to come off them in two weeks, and would ask that someone come to Murfreesboro that weekend to pick them up. Please reply or PM with any takers. Thanks for reading.

  2. Wow… I’ll keep that in mind. I was just passing along a killer deal. There are probably still some grown men that can handle that round and are looking for a small pistol; but maybe not.

  3. ATF has raided and taken down another "solvent trap" online dealer recently. They are starting to see what a "solvent trap" really is and what they are REALLY used for. And yes, you CAN order a 50 BMG upper for your AR15. Doesn't need to go through a FFl and can be mailed directly to you. Mine should be here any day.

  5. My take on these solvent traps, is they are traps. While I do my fair share of law breaking, I like to cruise 2 to 3 over on the interstate. I want no part of anything that could be construed as an automatic weapon, suppressor, or parts there of. Too many if's, and's or but's when it comes to these bits and pieces that some one in authority at the ATF could write a memo and make that part something that would send me to jail. I am just too soft and cuddly for that madness.

  6. It's been a good while since I've actually posted. This is one of the guns I've built most recently and it's quickly become a favorite to shoot. A 25 yard zero is also a 125 yard zero which I love. About the only things that might change are the back up sights so I can get the light closer to the 12 o clock rail, and some paperwork needs to be filed. Anyway, parts are as follows... -Quarter circle 10 lower and bolt -CMT UPUR 2 upper -Ballistic advantage 5.5" barrel -BCM KMR 7" alpha rail -KAK shockwave and tube -PA advance micro dot -Surefire scout mini on Arisaka mount I need to get some better pictures soon I'm currently working on another 9mm AR that takes colt mags with a stripped CMMG MK9 lower. I'll update this post in a few weeks with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. How important to you would it be to be able to buy shirts, hats, etc. embroidered with the TGO logo any time you wanted? I am looking at an option that would allow me to make that available to you all. There's a bit of a setup cost that I would have to pay, but honestly, it's not enough to really deter me if enough people were interested. Basically, there would be a website with a catalog specific to TGO where you could order quality hats, shirts, and other things embroidered with our logo. They would be responsible for filling the order and shipping the items to you. There wouldn't be any minimum quantities to order and the lead times would be very reasonable. Just trying to gauge interest.

  10. All it takes is the Chairman of the Civil Justice committee to be under her control (every Chairman is under her control, else they would not be Chairmen) to keep these bills off the House floor. And, the majority of the House voted to elect her, so they must be in agreement with her wishes, or, afraid to buck her. Either way, she rules...

  12. My first thought is, has your wife ever had a 1 hour (one way) commute to work? One hour that you drive on weekends or evening may turn into a 1.5 (more or less) during early and late rush hours. Commuting seems like a great trade off to get out of the city life for some initially but after time they really regret it.

  15. I don't know why it was designed this way but my first gut instinct is that it may be the result of a particular group of American lawyers than vino soaked Italian gun designers. I have not researched this but does using the striker deactivation button release the striker spring tension with out the striker being able to hit the primer of a live round if one were in the chambered. If so, there's your answer. Not trying to derail the thread but it does seem to be something I'm quit proficient at. Speaking of Italians loving their Vino. During the Annual ATA Grand American visiting vendors row is always fun. One that I never pass up is the Perazzi shop. Does not matter how early I've been in there I've sales reps and gunsmiths with a glass of vino in their hand or near them, I've even been offered a glass. I kid you not!

  18. @DaveTN hit the nail right on the head inside the state of TN, it's lawful to carry a loaded firearm in a personal vehicle by pretty much anybody legally allowed to own the firearm. There are some places that you can still run into problems without a permit, schools, colleges, universities. Company owned vehicles are also somewhat problematic as well.

  21. I don't know the code, but yes you can in fact carry a loaded handgun in your vehicle legally now. Law recently changed and most cops don't know established law much less recently changed ones. If a cop shoots you just from sight of a gun, there's a whole lot wrong going on there.

  23. My wife sure surprised me tonight! We were picking up my daughters new laptop at Best Buy this evening. I went to drool over the Go Pro camera that I only dreamed of having. I've never even used one, but thought it would be nice for filming my hunts. I almost passed out when she found me and said "I'll get it for you, but don't ask for anything for awhile, not even peanut butter!" Lmao. I am so happy! I sure do love my wife and apparently she loves me. Any helpful hints for a newbie to Go Pro?

  28. This state is not very 2nd amendment friendly. You have to remember that pure possession of a firearm for self defense is assumed to be illegal unless you fall under a set of exceptions. Tennessee is not like most states where the concealing of a weapon is illegal but having it in the open is legal. I've been under the impression that the state politicians want to appear 2nd amendment friendly but truly do not trust people, even people who buy the state's permits. It's quite obvious when the state government makes it illegal to carry with the state's permit in a bunch of state owned buildings by having a criminal offense behind the goofy 'no gun' signs.

  29. Wow.....Only in Southside AL....You will not believe what just happened.. I walked into 7/11 to get a drink When I walked up I noticed these 2 officers watching some dude who was smoking while pumping gas.. I saw him & thought, "This guy didn't have much common sense & was he stupid ?!! With the cops right there too?!" But anyway, I went in and got my drink. As I was checking out, I heard someone screaming.. I looked outside and the dude's arm was on fire! He was swinging his arm and running around going crazy! I ran outside and the cops had put him on the ground and were putting the fire out with their coffees!! YES, THEIR COFFEES!...Then they put handcuffs on him and threw him in the police car.. I was thinking "He shouldn't have been smoking near the pump while getting gas!" But being the nosy person that I am, I asked the cops what they were arresting him for.. The cop looked me dead in my eyes and said ... "WAVING A FIREARM!"

  32. That's a good deal. The bottom has completely fallen out of the black-rifle market thanks to manufacturers betting on the wrong outcome of the 2016 Presidential election. They overstocked expecting a panic, and no one panicked when it wasn't Hillary that won. Thank God, but wow it's caused a weird ripple through the firearms industry! Of course that should make all of us contemplate just how badly we were taking a bath on AR-15 prices for the past 8 years.
