"Outlaws already have a chapter in Nashville" The Outlaws have had a chapter in Nashville since at least the late 70s that I know of because back then Where I lived in Donelson in a nice neighborhood 5 houses down from my home was a house rented by the Outlaws and there was about 8 or 10 members and their women that would come and go from the house every day. They were very respectful when coming down the street from either direction and always drove slow cause they knew their were children living in most homes on the street. Never threw any wild parties but they did have cook outs and a lot of other members showed up for it and they all also respected the speed and noise while coming and going. They lived there for about 2 or 3 years and then all at once they were gone. Rental truck showed up on a Saturday and they were gone. In the years they lived there no one in the community ever had an issue with them. I had one of them that hung around an Exxon Station I worked at name John Tomberland and he was a straight up dude that was curious in auto repair and wanted to see if I would teach him some stuff and my one condition was he had to remove his colors while he was at the business and he didn't argue at all, Hung them in the stock room while he was there. If we got real busy on the he would walk out and help pump gas and wash windshields so my boss began giving him a few bucks and some gas for his bike. He left when the pack left but did stop by and say good bye to us and boss filled his bike tank for him for free.2 points

Yeah I never went the tattoo route. Got no grief with those who do. Some of my friends are covered up in them. I honestly think the only reason I never got any was the fact that I'm too cheap to do it. I've always thought the good quality jobs can get very expensive and I could buy a new gun instead.2 points

Anyone up on it tonight? Heard my favorite new quote on there: guy 1 asks "why are you always in a foul mood?" guy 2 responds "experience" Explains 90% of the people I associate with lol!1 point

Picked these up Friday. First up is a nice used MAK. First pic is how she came home and the second is in regular furniture. The other is NIB, which is rare to find these days. Better quality that the new stuff on the market for sure. Finding two in the same place at the same time is seldom at best. These were not "steals" but comparable in price to the C39 stuff. These are some of the best quality AK examples that were ever imported in the country.1 point

I was in Guns n More in Smyrna earlier today. They have probably 10 Anderson lowers in the display case. The prices are always great there and John and Sheena are awesome people!1 point

Garufa is correct; there is no reciprocity with Illinois. However; there is Illinois law. Here is a link if you want to read it yourself… http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs3.asp?ActID=34971 point

If anyone has the time, the books that the show was created from are fantastic. They've have to make some changes for television adaptation of course, and as of last season, they're officially ahead of the books storylines, but the TV show has kept true to them instead of just paying to have the characters and back stories to play around with. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk. OhShoot very much likes to know when we're using Tapatalk.1 point

I do believe we have probably watched the entire series, so far, at least5 times. Anytime there's a marathon catch-up session, my wife will watch it. I'll sit in for the good parts and read around the rest. It is rather addictive. lol1 point

And the big Numrich (Gun Parts Corporation) catalog for its firearm schematics.1 point

My wife and I finally got tired of being nagged about it and started watching it over the weekend. We're on episode 3 I think. I'm not sure why we waited so long.1 point

I went to high school with a girl that was on Jerry, or Maury or one of the exploitation shows. That was her small claim to fame. Or mine I suppose, as I knew her. Her excuse was she was sex addict. She was dating a friend of mine at the time of airing, she was actually my ride to work. She was crazy, yeah the kind you want no part of. I rapidly found a new way to work, and my friend found a new girlfriend. My ex as a matter of fact, but that is another story, for another time...1 point

1st time granny was in the hospital there was a very nice grandmotherly lady in the other bed. Sis was flipping through the channels and told Granny "Hey Jerry's on". We used to turn it on and watch her laugh at it. Well the nice grandmotherly lady said her grandkids have been on that 3 times. Well when they came to see her they gave us the low down about it. If you got enough people and dream up a good story you can call the show and they will put you up for a week. They were working on a real doozey for their next "vacation" when their grandmother got better.1 point

Went to a wedding back in Western NY yesterday. An old neighbors from before we moved, oldest daughter, was getting married for the first time at 42. She is the same age as our son with in a few days. She is a deputy sheriff and her new husband carries every day because he runs an ATM company. The bride among other duty service as the deputy for one of the judges in the county court regular, so he preformed the ceremony. In the middle of the ceremony he said he has know both of them since before they started dating and they had very different personalities that just seem to fit. He is very easy going and she is very high strung and needs to use everything on her gun belt every day. I told the judge after the ceremony that was first time I had ever heard gun belt in a wedding and liked it. He smiled and said he had to work hard to get it in.1 point

I know there are lots of nice bikers, my Dad rode for a long time, but some of these harder core clubs are not so nice. Several Outlaw chapters have been busted for a wide range of drug and violent acts. A meet up could involve some dealings that it is better to not be a part of. I rarely judge people on appearance. I used to dress rougher than some of there guys would. I have also learned that there are some places and groups I avoid to avoid the trouble there. Biker bars and hooker rows are not places to strike up a pleasant conversation. Too many chances for issues.1 point

You guys act like they're not perfectly nice people... And I bet you'd be surprised who a lot of them really are.1 point

Without a doubt the greatest guy you could ever meet. And doing business with him has ALWAYS been quick and painless. Always willing to help out as well.1 point

It's gun community trainer 101 to use their rank to drive business. Yet I fail to see the issue here. Law Enforcement Sales is a great guy to work with and does top notch work, so don't hesitate to do business with him.1 point
-
I honestly don't think that applies to most police departments. Countless well-known trainers in the firearms industry, for example, include their status with law enforcement agencies in their curricula vitae. Unless he just outright advertises, "Come do business with me because I am a Seargent with Big Metro Tennessee Police Department Name Here" it really isn't an ethical issue.1 point

I just came here to comment on this. That Canadian broke the record set by a bloody Englishman! Our snipers need to step up their game, go USA!1 point

Especially considering they each sent, what, a platoon each compared to the number of troops we have sent. Just by shear numbers we should occupy all of the top 100.1 point

I'm all about custom Kydex or anything practical. What I dislike is the twiggy bimbos in daisy Dukes with the boobs hanging out while holding an AR like its an ice cream cone and not eyes/ear protection. This is a semi-biased hobby/activity/sport/industry. We can't become equals if we act like bimbos. I'm all about wearing what makes you comfortable, but I don't take em serious if it's pink and I see panties. The first time hot brass pops down your shirt, is the last time you want that to happen. I've learned the hard way. No more v-necks at the range, no flops. Might not be sexy, but it's safe.1 point
