  1. I have a few revolvers to share with you. Some TC's. One without a scope is a 454 Casull. Just got bored and decided to snap some pictures with the iPhone.

  2. I copied a pasted this from another forum. walkout because you're forced to share a bathroom with the opposite sex. walkout because you have to ask permission to use the restroom. walkout because your school banned Huck Finn for being a racist. walkout because you are told what to read, rather than left free to choose. walkout because your teacher is terrible. walkout because your school forces you to sit in a class with students who don't want to be there and who interfere with students who want to learn and who care about their future. walkout because its 78 degrees and sunny outside. walkout because the windows don't open and are the size of a mail slot. walkout because you refuse to be treated like an inmate. walkout because you're not being taught real history. walkout because your school thinks normal kid behavior is a disorder and wants to put you on drugs. walkout because you're being trained to be a leftist robot who only walks out when he's told he should walkout.

  3. I for one firmly believe the purpose and scope of the 2nd amendment is to act as a leash on government, and ensuring the populace has the means, and capability, to defend their freedom against a government who's grown too big for it's britches! If one knows even a smattering of history, then you know it ain't about deer rifles, and if you're paying attention to the news today, you know it's as appropriate as ever!

  5. Wow. I’ve been in active shooter situations while I was armed; I imagine that unarmed is pretty scary. Normally I don’t worry too much about postings. The chance of me being detected is slim, the chance of me being cited is even less. But I wouldn’t do it at a school; the risk is too high. If making arrangements not to go back is an option that’s the one I would choose. Was the guy cranking off rounds in the parking lot arrested? Scaring his girlfriend by firing rounds? I don’t care how drunk or how mad he was; He needs to do prison time.

  8. Public education is liberal-left indoctrination while colleges are alt-left Marxist indoctrination camps now. They prep them young for the hard core Marxism they'll get in college.

  10. Thank you - I really appreciate it! Episode 003 just posted to the various distribution points, too. For some reason this episode I started using filler words while I was trying to verbalize my thoughts, which surprised me as I normally don't do that. I'll be investing in a shock collar before Episode 004.

  11. Can't wait to move to Tennessee. We've had a few decades of ILLannoy ---- hey, we're slow learners! Anyway, the wife and I are gonna move down there, near Knoxville, this fall, and we're really excited about it. I have a number of firearms (arsenal?) and enjoy all outdoor sports. The Oak Ridge Sportsman's Association looks especially interesting. Would appreciate any comments on that. You guys can't imagine how different your forum is from my current one in IL. You're talking about fun stuff, and we're talking about whether the Gov is gonna sign the bill that would make everyone who owns a mag over 10 rounds a felon. Like I said, can't wait to move to Tennessee! Oh, to be around like-minded people................

  12. Welcome to the neighborhood, this really is a nice place. Don't take the "change" comments personally, it probably doesn't apply to you. Many do move and try and change things to what they left, strange but true. I find that if you move to a place you like, leave it alone and all will be well.

  13. My youngest daughter was home schooled from 6th grade up. So glad we did that.

  14. That is exactly why all of my grandchildren are home schooled. They don't need to learn all that trash they teach kids in school these days. My Daughter In Law got her degree to teach so she holds class for all the school age grand children and is actually paid by 4 other families to have her teach their children. She has been doing this about 10 years now and goes back every 2 years to renew her teaching degree. None of my grand children plan on going to college anyway but will do like their parents did and go to a Trade School and earn a trade working with their hands and brains. On the other side of the family on daughter side my oldest grandson got his teaching degree and he is doing the teaching on that side with grand children and he also is teaching 7 children from 5 other homes and being paid for teaching them. He just went and renewed his teaching degree last month. If it is as all possible Home Schooling is best these days..............IMHO

  15. I don't know about that. If she is willing to be with a guy that acts like that she will probably be the type that will go bail him out. A lot of times women that have boyfriends like that they will do stupid things like get him out. I knew a girl who's boyfriend use to beat her up and they would arrest him and she would have him bailed out before the ink dried on the paper work. That one didn't end well but it did end. She ended up shooting and killing him during one of the beatings. They didn't arrest her but she has not been right in the head ever since.

  22. Great post tacops! I too had a Jackass (Miami Classic) rig way back when, around 1990 and could comfortably carry a full sized Beretta 92...but had to dress around the horizontal aspect of the rig. Solid comfortable and well built rig inho. Ken Null still makes some excellent rigs similar to the 9r mentioned by tacops. I've tried a j-frame model Gomez used to own and it was nothing short of excellent. Very concealable and pretty darn quick. The link below should show several variations. http://www.klnullholsters.com/default.htm Have you considered a "bellyband" system? I've used one for many years worn slightly below belt level and even rigged one up with a Glock sport holster attached and could accommodate a G-26 or G19 securely. I too would shy away for universal fit conceptually designed holsters...except the bellyband with a few tweaks.

  24. I have worn shoulder rigs a great deal over the years. I personally have never cared for IWB holsters although I have tried. I like leather, I'm Ol' School I guess. I never cared for ankle rigs. I have several OWB high ride holsters that I like when appropriate but since you asked about shoulder rigs, I'll share my preference. I have Galco, Bianchi, and Vega shoulder rigs that I like very well. All of mine are horizontal holsters with the exception of the Bianchi X-15 for large frame revolvers which is vertical. One of my favorites that is no longer made but can be found used is the Bianchi 9R-1 designed for small revolvers. It is a bottom drop design that I really like for my Colt Detective Special. It can be worn as a shoulder rig or removed from harness and worn on belt. My first Galco was the Miami Classic I purchased in the 80s and is still in service. It has a double mag pouch that offsets the weight of the weapon, as do most of those mentioned. I have several of these for different weapons, although the design is the same I think they may have a different name now. I recently found the Vega holsters that also offer multi use designs in that one shoulder rig can be used for OWB, LB, or Shoulder carry. I have been very pleased with Vega and one of these is a go to rig for carrying my Bersa thunder. Historically I have been a big Bianchi fan but over the years it seems that their quality has dropped. Now when I seek Bianchi I tend to hit Ebay and holster bins in local shops and try to find the older manufactured goods. Avoid nylon rigs and save yourself the disappointment. That is probably a whole lot more than you wanted to read, sorry, I got on a roll.

  29. These were made from farrier's rasps as requested by the customer. The first picture is what each blade started from. They all had Arizona Desert Ironwood handles with SS Loveless bolts as well as epoxy. The rasps had to be normalized, worked, then heat treated and tempered. The block is made from walnut. Thirteen pieces make up the block then glued, jointed, sanded, stained and finished. It took the better part of a month working part time to finish the set.

  30. Exactly. There is an entire generation of instructors that won't be active much longer. I try to spend as much time with them as I can to soak up as much "primary source" knowledge as I can. It's why I made an effort to host Mr. Spaulding this year.
