  3. The distinguishing features of a Combat Masterpiece are a 4" barrel and adjustable sights. Some 2" guns are also listed. Hammers, triggers and grips may vary but it will always have the 4" barrel and adjustable sights. The original Combat Masterpiece was in .38 Special and specifically designed for Police use. Thus the Name Combat as it intended to be a fighting handgun. The .22 and .32 were also reffered to as Combat Masterpieces as they had the same features. The name Masterpiece began with the longer barreled revolvers intended for target shooting. While sometimes called Target Masterpiece models, they are commonly just called either K-22 Masterpiece, K-32 Masterpiece or K-38 Masterpiece. The .38 Special later became the Model 15, the .32 became the Model 16 and the .22 became the Model 18.

  5. Thanks Garufa, I was close, but not quite there on the explanation. I just know that these are 2 that will never leave me. Both came from my Father.

  6. If it makes you feel better I had a similar problem with Winchester 9mm once. It happens.

  7. I have had, and traded for and bought many, many rounds of Freedom Munitions 9mm. I've liked them quite a bit, until...this. I've had 2 cases split in the chamber. Horizontally around the case about 1/4 inch above the primer and base. Both fired, but sounded a bit "off" to me. On inspection, I found that the rim and case ejected, but the upper portion of the case stayed in the chamber. Both times the situation was easily remedied with the use of a dowel rod. But it has made me somewhat leery of FM products. JMO

  9. I inferred that they were going to wait a bit since Negan was going to be put in some "jail," and then one day they would form a lynch mob and take care of him. They'll let Rick and Michonne get complacent with the idea that everyone is OK with Negan as a prisoner, and then spectacularly disagree with them as he is executed. "Revenge is dish served cold," "never forget," etc. type of thing.

  10. This whole stunt does absolutely nothing for the Anti's cause. Sure it makes them feel like they have done something, but it's not like the guns are outlawed and they took them off the street. The gun manufacturers are probably thinking, "Awesome, that's a gun the store already bought. Now a customer can't have that one, and we'll have to make another one to sell to him." It actually HELPS gun manufacturers. But, with lefties, it's always about feelings, and this makes them feel good. Idiots! They'ed have been better off discounting them and selling to law enforcement.

  11. Some years ago a dealer friend of mine ended up with a .410 AR as part of another deal. Nobody wanted it, including him. Couldn't hardly give it away. A few years passed and someone finally made him a low ball offer and he jumped on it just to get rid of the thing. It might sound cool now, but if you buy one you better intend to keep it forever.

  12. Yep. BTW, Limbsaver makes pads for most of the Magpul stocks now. So, I don't even get logo prints from my SOCOM these days.

  14. Except that 300 BLK is a 5.56 case. There was a problem with PMAGS because the front of the mags were notched for 5.56 bullets. It's why 458 SOCOM has a problem with PMAGS. Now, the follower will tilt on the cheesy grade Lancers, but they don't interfere with the projectiles like the PMAGS. The follower on the good grade is as good as a PMAG Cheesy grade (L5) on the left, good grade (L5 AWM) on the right. These are 20 rounders...

  15. The morons running Dick’s apparently think appeasing one segment of their customers will more than make up for alienating another group. This will likely mark the beginning of the end for this company, but management is too stupid to understand that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. I guess he could have made the bullets ,themselves, too large with nowhere to go.

  17. These writers need to bone up on their reloading equipment and techniques. That round could not of been taken out of the shell holder with it sticking that far out. And single stage presses, while good, would suck in mass production they could of got some turret or progressives to make it seem like they actually knew something. As to sabotage, I would of just reduced the powder in a few to give them squibs and possibly blow up the weapon on subsequent shots with a double load thrown in there every now and then...they would have to dump all the rounds or pull the bullets.
