(Image source: YouTube screenshot) Follow Chris EnloeWEEKEND EDITOR Article GoalINFORM SHARE TWEET A video showing President Donald Trump stopping his presidential motorcade to thank firefighters is going viral. What happened? The video shows the presidential motorcade pulling into an airport. That’s when Trump’s presidential limousine, known as “The Beast” or “Cadillac One,” suddenly stops. Two Secret Service agents are seen walking to the car. Special: This new investment course could be life changing The person capturing the footage, presumably a first responder, is heard saying, “No he’s not…this is great!” That’s when Trump steps out of his presidential car, waves and claps his hands and begins walking toward the firefighters. The president then shakes the hand of each firefighter who was there, telling them “thank you” as he made his way down the line of first responders. Trump then poses for several photographs with the firefighters. Trump even gives his signature “thumbs up” for the pictures. “That’s awesome!” the man holding the camera is heard saying. According to ViralHog, the impromptu stop happened on May 23 as Trump was departing Bethpage, New York, following a forum on illegal immigration: Despite the touching moment, it appears no mainstream media outlet reported on the moment when it happened. Video of the incident just went viral this weekend, garnering hundreds of thousands of views. Watch the moment below:

  4. Thanks @Kahr Man and @rugerla1 I just really got back into it at the last of last season. I wanted to hunt before, but my FIL is kinda weird and never said I could. I mentioned it and even outright asked and he would avoid the subject. No idea why. He would probably get 1/2 the meat anyway. I wish I could get land of my own, but that is not feasible (or at least not family priority) at this point. I am looking at college tuition for 2 within a few years. I can hunt with my Dad about 2 hours away, but his land is only about 15 acres with most being pasture or too close to the house to hunt. He sees lots of deer, but very few bucks. He has only gotten 1 in the last few years. I hate to horn in on such a poor chance. Especially since he will barely get to hunt this year after he gets done recuperating. We used to hunt Big South Fork and Chuck Swan when I was a kid. Never saw a deer, but times have changed. I see 5 deer or so a week as roadkill. Probably did not see 10 total by the time I was 18. Actually saw a 4 point in velvet eating on the shoulder on the way home.

  5. Losing your hunting land sucks. Hopefully it takes awhile to sell the property. I got out this weekend and put up a new ground blind. I still have a new ladder stand that I need to get up also.

  6. Just bought a P-07 over the weekend. Have a Cajun Gun Works-modded SP-01 and love it. They make a great pistol.

  10. Man, I feel your pain. Every time Windows 10 updates my desktop, it screws something up. For a company that's supposed to be the leader in software, Microsoft sucks.

  11. If your DL photo is fairly recent, they'll use that one on your carry permit. If it's more than a couple of years old, they require you to get a new photo.

  12. The Walther PK380 is a nice little pistol. It's big enough that a lot of the .380 recoil is minimized, and racking the slide is very easy. My daughter used mine several years ago when she got her HCP, and my Niece recently chose it as the first pistol that she ever shot. It's a very different magazine release, but works well once you get used to it.

  13. Meh, back when hands came off for thievery, we still had plenty of thieves taking the risk anyway. Crime is a constant. Do what you can to mitigate it (locked doors, keeping valuable items out of eyeshot, ect.) and punish it- reasonably- when you catch the perpetrators. Not much else to be done unless we want to get into dystopia mode over it. There is plenty of God all over the country no reintroduction required. Nobody is in a bind if they want to find religion. If they want to push it on others through government, however, they'll find resistance...which I'm all for.

  15. Nice! Be careful out there boys. Snakes are out and about. I was putting out cams this weekend and saw a good sized rattler and almost stepped on a smaller cottonmouth.

  17. In a completely different book than the one that talked about chopping off hands as a means to handle petty crime. For that matter, that bit you mentioned was in a way earlier chapter. It was well before the real hero showed up to teach really important lessons about forgiveness and mercy. I’m a big fan of that book, especially the second half. The other one with the hand chopping, not so much.

  18. Not necessarily. Many murderers today are more or less made into instant celebrities. If a person murdered another today, and they had a trial tomorrow, found the murderer guilty, drug him out in the street and hanged him immediately, you'd see murders decrease in short order. If a kid had a mother and father who loved and cared for them, taught them right from wrong, disciplined them, taught them a good work ethic, and took them to church, you'd see much less crime.

  19. I like Turkey's practice of cutting off the hand of a convicted thief. This cuts way down on repeat offenders as well as being a strong deterrent against potential offenders.
