  1. A recent glimpse at the slow, methodical evolution of the gun. Still no phone added to it, though.

  2. I'd much rather have that old model 10 than a new GP100.

  3. Let me qualify this. I don't own any LaRue rifles. I suggested them because they are top shelf, and I love the company. I do have a couple of their QD scope mounts, and believe they are the best on the planet. Besides, anybody that includes three pocket sized copies of the Constitution and a jar of Dillo Dust is tops in my book. Guns, 'merica, and cooking meat with fire. They got the basics down.

  6. I just joined and wanted to say Hi. Just recently retired and moved into the area and trying to learn more of what I can and can't do in Tenn. One of the local shops recommended that I join this forum for information. I am not new to firearms, training or working on firearms, just new to the state and their laws. I mostly own AR15s in several different variations that I had assembled throughout the years. I retired from government work and had a short stint in the private firearms sales and training. As an armorer I had access to many parts and knew what was quality and what was crap. I mapped out a 115 yard range on property and now I realize that I need more land. I recently became more interested in precision shooting and limited right now to the 5.56/.223 round because that is what I had the most access to. Looking to expand my knowledge on some of the more accurate mid-long distance cartridges and their characteristics. I came from a mostly liberal state anti gun state where you couldn't do anything and hated every minute. I was exempt from most of the state gun laws until I officially retired. I am a God fearing, gun loving patriot and glad to have finally landed in a place I can truly call home. Hoping this old dog can learn some new tricks from y'all on this forum. God Bless Ya.

  7. They’ve been talking about it and allowing large bore single shots. License holders got a survey earlier this year. I have not seen a change - and wouldn’t expect one this season.

  14. A sad ending to what we thought was a great man. It’s a great shame that the private wasn’t more like the public.

  18. Today I lost my best friend of 13 years. It is surreal coming home and not having him greet you and follow you everywhere you go. Always trying to sneak food. And then having him pass away in your arms hearing how much I love him. I hoped this day would never come. And it came way too soon. I will always miss you Mario.
