  1. I couldn’t film everything but I did film some progress and uploaded the progress to my YouTube channel if anyone wants to watch. About as exciting as watching paint dry

  2. Just checked specs on both pistols. They are practically the same weight, height and length. But MSRP is $1047 vs $479. Of course we all know MSRP is meaningless. Right now Bud’s is selling the Sheild for $283 and the Kimber Evo for $751 ( other models are well north of $800). Kinda doubting that there is $468 difference between the two. But I’m very price conscious.

  3. Whether its right or wrong; she may have said it. I thought the movie was good although I have no idea how accurate it was. I could kill a person that was a threat and go have lunch. However, because of my beliefs I could never have any part in an execution of a person that was in custody. “Carrying out your duty” doesn’t absolve you from responsibility for your actions.

  4. Really one of the sillier laws, but I suspect the intended application of the law was to keep kids from bringing knives to school for nefarious purposes. As we know, Lady Justice is supposed to be blind and apply the law equally to all, so you got the brunt end of it even as a responsible adult. Of course... none of this stops kids from bringing knives, guns, or any other contraband to schools as we've all well seen.

  5. Yeah, it’s hard to say. I’ve increasingly thought that LaPierre should step down over the last few years. But it’s a hard call on who should replace him. It’s sure not Chris Cox. I’ve got some thoughts on what advocacy should look like in 2019, but I just don’t know that the NRA is ready to change much from what they already are.

  6. Sounds like they did you a favor by just asking you to cover it up. It helps keep the sheeple from getting excited.

  7. It’s right about 7lbs with an empty mag. I’m thinking about swapping that Protach out for a Inforce.

  8. 39-17-1309 is the law. Since it requires “Intent to go armed” some would argue you may/may not fall into that category. Unfortunately you may have to make that argument in court. If someone on the staff commented on it; don't do it. https://advance.lexis.com/documentpage/?pdmfid=1000516&crid=29cdc632-475d-4e00-a924-1486c59a397e&nodeid=ABNAAOAANAAJ&nodepath=%2FROOT%2FABN%2FABNAAO%2FABNAAOAAN%2FABNAAOAANAAJ&level=4&haschildren=&populated=false&title=39-17-1309.+Carrying+weapons+on+school+property.&config=025054JABlOTJjNmIyNi0wYjI0LTRjZGEtYWE5ZC0zNGFhOWNhMjFlNDgKAFBvZENhdGFsb2cDFQ14bX2GfyBTaI9WcPX5&pddocfullpath=%2Fshared%2Fdocument%2Fstatutes-legislation%2Furn%3AcontentItem%3A50J2-V4S0-R03M-D4G5-00008-00&ecomp=k3d8kkk&prid=72c9153e-f6c6-485e-b015-f6830b8654fb

  9. The SRO is right. Open carry of a knife on school property is prohibited. It was contained in SB1438 in 2014, but I don't know the precise sections of the TCA that it affected. It's practically the only knife law left in TN. You can carry a knife on school property; it just has to be covered up.

  10. The enemy we know rather than one we don't. Change in the NRA is a definite need. Scrapping it totally would be a disaster for us and the country. jmo

  12. Oh, it got cracked open the night I got it, and shared as well. I know now what I like, but I don’t have the vocabulary to describe whiskys and wines. I couldn’t tell you what peaty means. What I can say is that it’s smoother than the 12, but significantly less smooth than the 18. I love the 18, I like the 15, the 12 is good, the 10 is terrible.

  13. Personally I'm looking forward to a revival of fruit flavored vodkas. Something to keep the schlubs occupied.
