  2. You heard wrong. They openly discriminate against gun discussion and gun-related topics, to the point of deleting posts and shutting down groups without warning. I am confident this trend will accelerate.

  3. How about the 3rd string quarterback? The Vols looked good today. I was proud of them.

  4. Vanderbilt’s burn unit is one of the best around. He should be in good hands there. I’m so sorry to hear this. We’ll keep him and his family in our prayers.

  7. My wife used to work with a raptor rehab group. Most of the birds suffering from lead poisoning had been shot, so they were injured and on the ground where people could see them and get them. A bird that injests lead in something it ate is likely to just drop dead at some point so there's not a good way to count them. I'm sure this one got attention because it was an eagle. Black Vultures and Turkey Vultures are plentiful here so they're not going to get much attention. The California Condor is one of the more well known examples. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_condor

  8. If you’re basing business decisions on Facebook traffic, I question whether you might be better off just taking that money and just burning it. We’ve already got the data showing that they’re purposefully inflating numbers they’re showing advertisers. Instagram is owned by Facebook for those who may not know. Like it’s predecessor, it’s a giant time suck.

  9. If a S&W 380ez isn’t an option for some reason, you might want to consider a Beretta Tomcat .32acp. Comes with a tip up barrel, for easy loading. Of course if funds are unlimited, the Beretta made the 86, which also had a tip up barrel, but they are expensive. The one on Gunbroker is $1100+. i really like the idea of a 20gauge semi. It’s something she might have shot as a child and is familiar with. A youth model would do the trick. Just cut the barrel back to about 20”.

  10. My 15 year old grandson was burned bad, last Saturday night. He and some of his friends, had a bonfire, as they had a tree go down in a recent storm. The boys lit a brush pile. Most of them were standing on a hay wagon, and Mason jumped off to throw some sticks in the fire. As he reacher over the end of the burn pile someone had thrown a half used can of spray paint in the pile that they did not know about. The paint can exploded as Mason leaned over the fire and set his shirt on fire. He had a pair of his dads flame retardant trousers on which saved his legs from burns. Little fella has been in the burn unit at Vandserbilt Hospitall in Nashville, however he has been home now for a couple days. He has severe burns on both arms, hands, fingers and head and neck. I think they figured 14% of his body was burned. Guys, it is rough. My wife goes over and helps our daughter dress his burns daily. He goes back to Vanderbilt on Monday to see if they are doing his wound care well enough to keep him home. He is in terrible pain and it is hard for me to watch them replace the bandages. They fear 3rd degree burns on his arms and hands. Time will tell. They told him it will be 6 months to a year for him to heal providing he gets no infections.
