  1. Note that the hospitals here haven't been anywhere near capacity in the past 4 months. Most have been virtually empty. Given that society has been reopened for 2 weeks, if sick people aren't flocking to the hospitals now, I doubt they will.

  2. Well, I guess I will join in on this..... I own many of the handguns mentioned in this thread, but I have to say that my overall favorite is the Springfield Armory XDs. It is very well made and very thin and concealable. Only .9 inch wide so good for exterior or IWB holster. Plus, you can get it in not only 9 mm but also in .45 in same physical size. The latter is the caliber that I carry. I love having .45 cal power in such a small package. Very rugged as I have placed nearly 1,500 rounds through it with no problems. Oh, and I carry mine when I ride my horse also...……... Good luck.

  4. My rough patch has been resolved, simply figuring out how to communicate better. Now I really need your prayers. The next day when i returned to work, one of my prayer warriors stopped by office to check in on me. With the strangest expression, he asked if I was ok (which I most certainly was) He later revealed he detected the presence of the Holy Spirit when speaking with me. Nope, not me, I'm not that guy. However, in my prayer life I ask that God helps me be his obedient servant, wisely invest my time, talent and treasure for his glory and help me fulfill the potential he sees in me; to be a living image of Christ. God says, "you've been asking, so I'll let you know you're on the right path." It's quite an "oh ####" moment, be careful what you ask for, you might just get it. Please pray that God continues to use me for his glory, that I make the right decisions to protect me from myself and tell Satan to eff off. This gives me great confidence and eliminates my fears Legions of Angels to send forth on my behalf in the cosmic battle for my soul. God of Angel armies indeed!!!

  6. Update: I repurposed this to carry my Elite SC so I cut off an inch and a half as well as curved the side that goes on the leg when you bend. Made a nice difference and is proving to be a comfortable holster. Also didn’t realize how thick the Kydex was until I compared it to another holster (factory Canik Elite SC holster). I think for what I paid I did well.

  7. That is about when I put mine out and didn't see any birds for all that time. Took them all down and washed them and put new nectar in them and that one little male showed up and he came back to the same feeder all afternoon and evening. As far as a month ago, I was not expecting to get any homesteaders but thought I might get a few travelers that will find feeders, stay a couple days and get back in the migration. I may have had them and just missed them but I think this little male will stay here till Fall.

  8. Been looking for one of these for two+ years. Finally found a Sig P220 Legion in .45 ACP and brought it home.

  9. I've carried a handgun professionally and personally all of my adult life. Thought I knew it all about shooting and self defense. Took Buford's HCP class back in the 90's for the first HCP. Actually learned a lot form him. As others have said here and elsewhere, he was a character and I found him a tad bit arrogant, but despite that, I liked him we kept in contact all these years, and I respected both his career and his character. RIP.

  10. I will say I have had a LOT of CC pistols and the only one I have ever had that was pleasant enough to range shoot and also daily carry has been my Sig P365...my 2nd favorite carry is my HK USP45compact but it dwarfes the sig and isn't really comfortable for summer wear. I highly recommend the Sig P365 (non XL)...its shockingly comfortable to practice with.

  11. Well, that leaves me out, I've not worn one yet. I was going to when I went to attempt to get a haircut, when they finally opened, but it was just for active duty at the time. Not that I don't take precautions, but wearing anything not rated for this is senseless to me, and since I'm not sick, it doesn't help others either. There is nobody in my household more susceptible than any other healthy person so not worried about that, and I don't socialize with anyone who is either. I'm not stupid, I'm not going around licking toilet seats or even shopping cart handles, but I'm also not doing more than washing my hands properly a bit more often than usual. I think it's actually worse wearing masks and gloves, with people constantly having to adjust the darn things with their potentially contaminated hands, gloved or not. I do think it's serious, but not to the level everyone seems to make it out to be. And now that the riots have once again brought out out all the masses, any progress the forced quarantine may of had, if any, is out the window.

  12. Buck up guys. Take the political posturing out of it. It's some bad s h ite for sure. All you can do is take care of yourself and those who matter to you. Pay attention, be vigilant and don't be a macho jerk when it comes to wearing a mask. I expect a higher level of responsibility from TGO'ers.

  13. Haha, it isnt fun when "help" is provided. I prefer to back that 5th wheel down all my my lonesome. Then its a race. I like to do it in under 2:30 seconds. When help is provided (wife/son) it takes at least 5 mintues.

  14. Bring her down here to Cleveland your wife and mine can figure it out together. We have a 34 ft 5th wheel and a 1,100 ft driveway that I back down, down the hill and around the curve out onto a sort of narrow dead end with large drop offs on each side.
