1. SOLD!!! Made from 3/16" thick 52100 ball bearing steel. There are hours of pleasure in making this Bowie look old. As you can see it has a false edge and has a blade length of 7 1/2" and OAL of 13 1/2" It's long and narrow and very light. The finger guard is made from 52100 as well. I antiqued the handle as well made from Tamarin. It's $150 shipped. 2. SOLD!!! Made from 3/16" thick 52100 ball bearing steel. There are hours of pleasure in making this Bowie look old. Update -- A new Holosun 507K X2 from a different Amazon vendor arrived yesterday and is totally acceptable. I'm a satisfied customer...but will never order anything from the Holosun Store again. Cheers, Whisper2 points

I haven't kept up with the bump stock, except what was on the news. My wonder is how the current adm. will look at it. Hopefully, not.1 point

Update I went back to the gun store to return the magazine I bought for the gun I purchased. The store was closed, but the owner was in the parking lot along with the guy that I see in the videos so I stopped and told them that the salesman is the one that brought up the 10% sale on Saturday and I told him my side of the story. He said there was disclaimer on the ad and I told there wasn’t and I was going to show but he said that it did not matter and he had a check for the 10% discount on his desk. I thanked him and will continue to do business with the store.1 point

I've probably had this one 15 years. Still works great. It does have a quirk or two, but once you figure those out, it is plenty accurate for general loading. There are certain numbers it will not display. I'll use 8.0 for example. It'll toggle between 7.9 and 8.1, but you simply cannot make it read 8.0. For my needs, 7.9 or 8.1 are plenty close. I would use something more accurate for competition. You also don't have much luck trickling into the pan while it's on the scale. To get the reading to change, you need to pick up the pan and set it back on the scale. I checked it for years against a beam scale. I finally convinced myself it was accurate.1 point

I have a beam scale. I bought a $20 Frankford Arsenal pocket scale from Midway just to see it in person. For years now, it's pretty much all I use. It's quick, easy, and accurate. I've become too lazy to drag out the beam scale. Dang! They've went up! That RCBS should be a good one.1 point

"Funny thing about pic, the Duke was right handed, but he is shooting that one left handed." I believe photo is reversed. Cylinder release aoppears to be on wrong side, also check placement of buttons on Duke's sport coat.1 point

I love the Security Six! I have a stainless 2.75" and a blue 4". Toughest revolvers ever built. I'm keeping my eyes open for a good 6" gun. I've said for many years that the worst mistake Ruger ever made was discontinuing the Six series revolvers.1 point

Happy Father's Day everyone! No greater role has been bestowed upon us. I've been blessed with two wonderful daughters.1 point

Any idjit can post stuff online. You are right to be pissed. Either the GS in question is devious or ignorant, probably both.1 point

I love reloading for revolvers, and shooting them too. No brass to look for and pick up.1 point

That I did not know. Very interesting. I have a friend who convinced me to go with Holosun because his Romeo 5 died on its first range session. I have 4 Holosun units now and am exceedingly happy with them. Have bought from Amazon and Optics Planet without any trouble from either. But that could always change. Online ordering is so very easy, but I just miss walking into a brick&morter store and actually seeing and handling things before buying. But that kind of shopping is rapidly disappearing.1 point

The lead time for importing ammunition is years. It can take a year just to get the State Department to approve each shipment. And I'm sure the Biden administration has no interest in speeding it up. I'm sure that foreign manufacturers are VERY eager to ship as much as possible while prices and demand are high.1 point

Ok. I will put away $$ in a GT Bowie Fund. Then I just have to beat KahrMan to the punch.0 points

GT keeps putting these out when I just dropped $$ on something else. In this case a 300BO upper.0 points

You know I do, but I’m going to hold off a couple hours to see if someone else needs it first.0 points

I’m fairly certain that is not a pic of John Wayne at the local gun range. I’m pretty sure that it is a still of him acting in the movie Brannigan, whom I believe to be left handed.0 points
