  1. If you're willing to murder someone then a lifelong OOP is useless. OOP's are violated on a daily basis in this country. If he were to die from an acute case of lead poisoning after coming near you then I wouldn't convict you if I were on the jury. He's clearly a threat to you.

  3. Thought about just using a fire pit from the local big box store? They’re generally big enough for months of household mail - and they’ve generally got screen covers that will keep your flaming bank statement from taking flight and burning down the neighborhood.

  5. SOLD Selling this 1993 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade 7MM Rem Mag out of the custom shop in New Haven Ct. Gorgeous wood, nearly perfect condition except for one scratch across the trigger guard as pictured. perfect bore. Includes Leopold rings and a vintage Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x50 scope. Comes with Winchester Letter. One problem it has: very front scope mount screw hole seems to be stripped out...will need gunsmith to re-tap to be perfect. It has jeweled bolt & follower, inletted swivel studs, and beautiful bluing.

  6. Typically, it's not reloaders. It's people that know there is a shortage so they buy everything they can get their hands on, then turn around and post them for sale with a "slight" mark up. Personally, I wish everyone would refuse to buy from those people and they would be stuck with all the crap they bought.

  13. I got this link in e-mail the other day from TFA. Makes for interesting reading and explains why this is NOT Constitutional Carry. But still, questions remain. For example, we know this law doesn't allow carry in parks or greenways, but where else is a person prohibited from carrying under this law? This new law goes into effect very soon. I fear confusion of what it actually means will be a real problem. https://tennesseefirearms.com/2021/06/tfas-analysis-of-governor-bill-lees-permitless-carry-law-and-why-to-avoid-it/

  14. 1. SOLD!!! Made from 3/16" thick 52100 ball bearing steel. There are hours of pleasure in making this Bowie look old. As you can see it has a false edge and has a blade length of 7 1/2" and OAL of 13 1/2" It's long and narrow and very light. The finger guard is made from 52100 as well. I antiqued the handle as well made from Tamarin. It's $150 shipped. 2. SOLD!!! Made from 3/16" thick 52100 ball bearing steel. There are hours of pleasure in making this Bowie look old. 16. It has arrived! Not run it yet, but I'll update as soon as I get range time. Just doing a function check gave me a massive freedom boner. Also ordered a t3 buffer at the same time.

  19. Got an Email from Apps Training that they are opening a new gun shop at 2611 Lebanon Pk. This would put it across from Green Police Supply/Shpeley Donuts. Looks like it may also be a range. Guess with Buford gone and Const. Carry they are branching out,did not get any other info on it. This is Donalson but GPS is Nashville. Will check it out next week.

  21. Meth fueled in-breeding. The creepy part is that it looks like the little girl on the bike has no legs and it looks like half of a baby in half of a baby crib all the way to the right. Might be because I’m looking at it on a phone. I dunno. Might be descendants of the Adams family. Or the family from Wrong Turn.

  24. Wow. That’s a lot of $$$ sitting there. That took some time to put together. I wouldn’t want to have to feed all those right now. However, with that kind of collection, I bet they have more ammo stored than any gun shop at the moment.

  29. If you can’t bring yourself to pay USGI prices, and just want something to shoot, you might consider the new Kahr / Auto Ordnance or a used Plainfield. Universal carbines run the gamut from OK to junk. The earlier models are better when they were still using lots of surplus parts. I’d avoid the later ones, mostly identifiable by the cutout on the operating rod. I personally avoid all of the Universal guns on principle but times being what they are, I might reconsider if I came across one cheap enough.

  30. Some will say I'm being foolish...but I don't care. I know there are lovers of all God's wonderful creations here, and though it may be too late; I ask for a small prayer for the life of my very best friend and companion of 12 years...Molly. She's been having a few problems lately, and I won't go into them now. Let's just say we've devoted a lot of time and funds on her over the years, and I fear that her release from all this is near. It's been rough on her with injuries before. But the little trooper has never whined or cried out from her pain. Always a bright eye and a wagging tail for me at every moment. Well that's changed today. Molly hasn't moved unless absolutely forced to and has refused all forms of food, water, even her favorite...Greenies. That in and of itself doesn't sound all that bad, but coupled with the things I'm not saying...I'm extremely worried and fearful this afternoon. So if you could spare a moment for a prayer for her. Thank you brothers.

  31. As I read all these comments and wishes and prayers offered, I am reminded once again why I spend so much time here. So many very good people! I thank you one and all for your prayers. Now to update the situation. Molly is much better, not perfect; but gaining a little strength everyday. Has begun to eat a bit more and is drinking water well. The lasting concern is her weight loss. Has been a solid 36/39 pounds for the last 5/6 years. She has dropped to 32 in the last few weeks. Fears of the C word and some elevated liver enzymes are here. I refuse to be pessimistic. But I understand her age and condition. Whatever comes our way, I know such a beautiful and loving spirit as she has will be waiting for us if she leaves before us to join her other friends gone before. God does not give such gifts as these to simply remove them forever from us. So again brothers...we thank you for all the prayers and beautiful messages. I will keep information coming as I get something to tell.

  35. Haha, true, had noticed as well. One reason I decided to pay the asking price for the 686 I bought. I figured it was a safe medium to stash those greenbacks in while the value of the USD hits terminal velocity. I could sell it today for what I paid.

  37. This. I’ve carried lots of small 9mm options and the Hellcat is by far my favorite. It’s shocking that you can get 12+ rounds in a firearm this small. Accuracy is great for its size and disappears completely with appendix carry. My buddy carries his in front pocket.

  41. The great thing about Tennessee, there’s lots and lots of water. Just make sure you’re not in the city limits anywhere, most cities frown on shooting, Mount Juliet has an ordinance no projectiles of any kind, BB gun, slingshot, arrow, firearm. However I have been told that there’s a judge in Lebanon that will give you a letter so you can hunt in Mount Juliet city limits.

  45. I've got a 1967 vintage 10/22, serial # 103xxx with the original Mannlicher stock. It will run BX-25 and other clone magazines but using anything but the 10-round mags feels like sacrilege with that rifle.
