mRNA vaccines do not contain any part of the virus. It doesn’t give you “a little touch of anything.” Anyone who tells you otherwise is misleading you. If you’re hearing them on any type of media you’re consuming - it’s on purpose. You can debate what that purpose is - but what they’re telling you is simply not true. If it’s helpful, you can think of mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) like old school wanted posters. Your body is like a saloon in the old West. The virus walks in and your body is like, “hey, we know this jerk. You’re not welcome here” and generates a response accordingly.

Other than the sickness and death resulting from COVID, the saddest reality I have experienced in my work as a mental health therapist is the brokenness that arguing about COVID has brought to families, marriages, and friendships.

If you’ve never stopped and got food from a roadside Mexican taco stand, don’t cheat yourself. I doubt there’s any better food on the planet. That is all.

I so very much appreciate the thanks some of you have offered my comment. I have never been, and will never be, a "controversial" person on TGO. The pain that so many patients and families I've counseled regarding COVID has been so avoidable. To see people choose thoughts and beliefs over family and friends has been very painful for me as a therapist. Folks, we have GOT to get back to "live and let live." Maybe we do not share all perspectives on everything, but we MUST uphold the worth of EVERY person despite our disagreements. Please, no one take me on for my thoughts. The bottom line is that maintaining relationships trumps any kind of disagreements. When all is said and done our relationships get us through difficult moments, not our belief systems.

No, the vaccines aren’t cures. But they are a hell of a preventative measure. While I don’t purport to be able to speak for the dead, so I don’t know how he would have felt about it, I know that I sure as hell wish Mikey would have been able to get the vaccine. While unequivocally support the right of the individual to make their own choices, good or bad, informed or ignorant, I can say without a doubt that it is 100% serious.

Eh, not quite. The covid vaccines, like most vaccines don’t actually fully prevent folks from catching it. They do mostly keep them from getting sick. Also, it absolutely is being reported that folks who have been fully vaccinated are still possible transmission vectors. Agree completely. When in High School (along time ago) we went to a hole in the wall Mexican place near the Toledo airport whenever we got a chance. About 20 years ago I heard the restaurant was still there and asked some friend that still lived in the area, planning to stop in when we were back visiting. They said don't bother, very mediocre, some one bough them out for the name and built a fancy new building and did not keep any of the kitchen staff that knew how to make real Mexican food. I have found a few more over the years but you have to drive the less traveled roads to find them.

I’d actually describe them as so: The mRNA is a task force sent to the saloon, gives them extensive training towards eradicating the virus, and then disappears. Then the virus walks in to the newly trained saloon.

It is a fluid and evolving situation. The owner of the company is also the lawyer. He’s been preparing for this since day one. Here is the initial response. We left Nashville (Crieve Hall area) and moved to the plateau back at the end of 2014. We moved into our current home at the beginning of 2015. Cookeville is selling pretty high right now. I would recommend looking outside of Cookeville in the smaller "incorporated" areas. We live in an area outside of Cookeville (Jackson County) called Tick. Ridiculous name? Yes. But we live on a ridge between 2 valleys and honestly it's amazing. You have to look, but there are hidden gems for sure. But we're 15 minutes to Cookeville or Livingston. So it's super convenient. Cookeville has TONS of libs (thanks Tech) but there are tons and tons of conservatives. We live close to Bend in the River which is an outdoor range (less than 10 minutes away) but I haven't been there. I know quite a few vets that shoot there and love it. There are quite a few good gun shops up here. When we first moved here I frequented The Gun Shop and Trading Post in Livingston. I haven't been in ages though because Monkey said I spent too much money there. There is a shop called Outdoor Junction with a range also right off of 40, but I won't step foot in there. Bad experience while trying to buy. Quite honestly, I love our house here. We have 4 acres and it is quiet. "Town" is too busy for me, so clearly you know I hate going to Nashville now. BUT the beautiful part about living here is that we're really a middle area between Nashville and Knoxville. I can make it to either city in about 1.5 hours. Personally at this point, I prefer Knoxville for shopping but we still return to Nashville for Dr. Appointments and what not. Don't underestimate a doe deer and her razor sharp hooves. Evidently somewhere in the past a hawk had swooped down on her. I recently saw a video where a guy was showing all the animals that kill turkeys. He had a bobcat, coyote, and a big hawk swoop down and knock over his decoy.

First let me apologize as I should have been more clear and certainly did NOT try to lump anyone overweight or obese into 1 category. My disdain is for those that you and I carry along being part of the working taxpayers while they live the care free lifestyle on our dime. They take and never give. They go to the ER or urgent care once a week. Then when their bad habits get the best of them they get a free ride to the end of life. THOSE people got fat and lazy thanks to working the system. And FWIW 10 years ago I was 6'2" 300lbs and not in the best of health. But I got my fat ass up everyday and went to work just so I could wave at my welfare neighbor sitting by the pool I helped pay for in the evening. I made lifestyle changes and im a better man today because of it. But I worked and didn't look for a handout. But I also didn't go pat my neighbor on the back and say "here's half my check cause we are equal". I'll stop the ramble but the point is if you're not willing to pull your weight you shouldn't get the same slice of pie that I get. And it's getting worse

We seem to be overlooking the thing that the Bronco is intended for offroad use. It's not supposed to look like an Escalade ( SP ). I'm considering taking a serious look at one next year. They're hard to find now. I'm more interested in the Sasquatch package. That's where the more serious off road options come in. Electronic locking diffs, front & rear, for starters. I had a 1978 Bronc that I put a Detroit Locker in back & a Detroit Truerac in front. That booger would go.

1911. Doesn’t really matter which exact one. I just love the gun. Not always that practical to carry, does not hold many rounds, it pretty low-tech by some of today’s standards. But I have always loved the 1911. I don’t carry a 1911, and I love my P365XL/507K for that. But there is something about the 1911 that is just so….. right.

I've only seen the extremely disappointing Bronco Sport which has been driven by a teenage looking girl every time. Looking forward to seeing the real Bronco.

Crossville is a decent community. There are several gun shops, and multiple pawn shops wihch carry guns. There's one indoor range and several outdoor ranges. The indoor range is clean and rarely busy. I haven't used the indoor range since the Chinese virus b.s., and we mostly shoot on our own outdoor range on our property. In my immediate area, it's not unusual to hear gun shots in the evening, in fact I heard some shots a short while ago (we've been having some issues with some coyotes and a bobcat bothering our poultry, but it wasn't me this time). Demographically, it's mostly Caucasians, there's a couple streets of darker complexioned folks located towards the western portion of town, just south of 70N. The majority of folks here are conservative, and a lot of them are retired military, LEO's, and other government employees. There are three major housing developments, Fairfield Glade, Lake Tansi, and Cumberland Cove and all three have H.O.A.'s. The rest of the area is rural. Most crime in the rural areas is crime against another family member, so everyone has a pretty good idea who the usual suspect is going to be. We like it in Crossville, as the folks are friendly and welcoming. The medical facilities are good, for both humans and animals. There's a good selection of restaurants and grocery stores. Crossville is definitely more conservative than Cookeville, and when I visit Cookeville I feel like I'm entering a suburb of Seattle. Let me know if you have any specific questions about Crossville and I'll try to answer them.
