  1. I went in to The Gun Crew shop in Nashville today to pick up a couple of guns I had bought but hadn't gotten yet. (I live 3 hours away now.) They had boocoo .300Blk, .22LR, .45acp, 9mm & 5.7 ammo for sale. The 5.7 is about 1/2 of what I was seeing on GB, so you can help yourself there if that's what you need. I didn't check to see if there was plenty of 5.56 or 7.62x39 but I'm sure he has them as well. None of the ammo was match grade, but the pistol calibers were both FMJ as well as self defense ammo. They had multiple types of 9mm self defense on sale as well, much of it Hornady stuff. Hope this helps some folks.

  2. Another great pistol from the collection of the "TGO renowned" collector, Gr8Smiles. If you seen his collection you know he only buys, possesses and sales quality firearms. I purchased this on a whim and currently need the funds for something else. So if you were eyeing it and missed out on the first go around here's another chance at $100 off the original listing! So, for sale is a Stainless, 2.5" S&W Pre-lock 686. This gun is gorgeous and built like a tank. Would make a fine addition to any collection. Adjustable rear sights with red serrated front ramp sight. Beautiful grooved wood Combat grips. SOLD in the Hermitage/MJ/Lebanon area. I will also be traveling south on I-65 this Saturday morning.

  3. I wanted to build a Shughart M-14 because if you’re gonna have one, it might as well be one modeled off the one used by one of the baddest men to wield it. I started with this M-14 clone from Bula Defense. Mounted an ARMS-18 optics rail and an Aimpoint CompM. I then acquired a surplus M-14 fiberglass stock. The army boys sure do love their duct tape. Once I got it stripped down, it was time to paint! As it sits now, it’s in what I refer to as the “movie configuration” ad it’s similar to what was used in the Black Hawk Down film. The CompM will end up coming off and being used on a retro AR build using the original hi-rise optic mount (carry handle gang gang). As of now there are a couple of bits that are either on the way, or requiring a little detailed work to mount. (Waiting on rings for my Aimpoint 5000 and the AIM-1/D needs a tape switch fabricated for it.) Updates to follow as the build is adjusted/completed.

  4. Like new Browning Citori CX micro 12ga 28 inch barrel. Got it early last year for my wife, didn’t use much, maybe 160 rounds. Made in the famous Miroku Japan factory, extremely well made. Beautiful walnut wood, Has two adapters to change LOP 13.5” to 13.75” and 14” inch. I Balance’s it perfectly by hiding extra weight inside the stock. Perfect for small to mid frame person like teenagers, women and shorter arm men. 3 chokes and box and warranty card. bill of sale and cash $1560 at Brentwood or cool springs area. No shipping, and I don’t need help selling it.

  5. Easily the best shop in Mid TN. Perhaps the entire state, IMO. Selection, price, service. Everything but a gun smith.

  8. Yeah. Some wood tools are a pain to move, and require some space too. I'm real fortunate when it comes to space... 9. SOLD Picked this one up a few weeks back and it's an amazing pistol, but honestly it's more gun than I am a shooter . It was new old stock and I put 100 rounds through it and it is truly one of the best, softest shooting pistols I've had the pleasure of pulling the trigger on. Built for competition or precision shooting, of which I do neither. The SAO trigger breaks at just under 2 lbs on my digital gauge and the 3-20 round mags seem to just empty by themselves.... Comes with case and the rest of the factory goodies. PM if you have any questions. $1200

  11. That’s a good idea. Purists say don’t take it above about 110 deg or you may destroy the natural enzymes. I have a design for a “hot box” that uses a light bulb to heat the box. I will try the oven trick and monitor the temp.

  12. All honey will likely crystallize eventually. It is a super saturated sugar solution. The higher glucose to fructose ratio lends itself to crystallize more quickly. You can put it in a hot water bath (100-110 deg) and it should. liquify. If it has not been sealed really well and the water in the honey has been allowed to evaporate it may crystallize more quickly.

  14. Let them know what you think, EVERY gun owner needs to send a comment, whether you like/use braces or not, not like some did for the bump-stocks and side with the ATF. https://www.gunowners.org/action/?vvsrc=%2fcampaigns%2f86078%2frespond

  16. This has been going on since the beginning of time. They just acquire a new target depending on the day. I do like the term as it succinctly states the reality.

  17. This whole thing is nothin but more weaponized gubt intrusion used as a cudgel to punish gunowners for wrongthink. Ya have pistol rules now. These bast#!$s are tryin to change existing rules to punish that wrongthink. It's another proof of the need to sweep the ATF and the " Injustice " Department clean. Welcome to the era of weaponized lawfare... leroy...

  18. Yeah, with a whole buttload of restrictions. There's a reason I don't have any NFA items either. Has nothing to do with the 200 bucks.

  19. And let no-one forget the BATFE don't make laws, their"rules" mean absolutely nothing to a lawful gunowner!!! Laws are made and passed by Congress not the BATFE

  21. I have a Browning Baby .25 and an Iver Johnson single 12 gauge and both will be refinished. in 20 years a refinished piece will be worth more than an un-useable rusty paperweight. It looks beautiful, the way it should. let the barn finders keep their high priced junk and enjoy!
