  1. Thank you for your prayers and positive thoughts, they are powerful. There is no magic pill given for strokes, healing is through patient participation, the brain creating new neural pathways and the grace and mercy of God. We have been home for a little over a month and she is doing well, mobile with walker and limited wheelchair. In home therapy, probably out patient week after next. I've been living Acts 4:30 Father, stretch forth your hand to heal and to perform signs and wonders in the name of your holy servant Jesus. It's a coincidence or a miracle, I know which one I choose.

  2. Several times over the past 25 years I've asked Wayne when they were going to overturn the NFA. You might have thought I was asking him to kill puppies! He has NEVER responded to that. He always turns and walks away quickly. If they aren't going to support the 2nd the way it was written, then I have no reason to give them any more money. I support NAGR and GOA at the national level. And I support TFA here in Tennessee.

  3. A.J, I am glad to hear of her great recovery. I used to use the work coincidence quite a bit, I rarely use it nowadays. I have witnessed too many miracles of God healing folks. That is what we all need to remember, God is still in the healing business!! Any you my friend said it best, God shows us all his mercy and grace and I pray he continues to give this country His mercy and grace and not his wrath. Keep us updated as we love to hear how our prayers are being answered!!

  4. I don't mind you selling your mags and I hope you're successful at selling everything you have and that is sincere. However, don't you think it would be better to contact that person via pm instead of replying to sell something of yours in my post? Granted I was not trying to sell anything, but you're a vendor and I'm guessing you wouldn't be too thrilled if I was trying to sell knives on your posts.

  5. The base here in Millington is overran by deer. A while back I saw somewhere between 30 and 40 does and fawns in a field beside the Commissary and this is on the main road coming on base.

  7. I covered a stump in my back yard in stanard salt. They were all over it and dug it out for me. I nailed some of the round salt mineral wheels you use for rabbits to it too. Not a trail cam, but might be a cheap way to go. My Dad bought an apple attractant block and nothing ate it. lol

  8. I just went out and tried it at 50 yards with the factory sights. I can manage an 8-10” group which isn’t great but should bode well for a dot. I’d like to stick with the robustness and simplicity of irons but I won’t be trekking through the wilderness. I’m just tired of toting an 8lb rifle and want to try something new and cool.

  9. I would like to say yes but this damn cedar tree jumped right in front of my bullet. I have taken some does with a 10mm 1911. The 10mm does a great job on deer. None of my shots were over 60-65 yards and all the deer went less than 50 yards before pilling up.

  10. I've never seen one in .32acp, only .380acp. Not saying they were never made, only that I've never seen one. It baffles me why Sig dropped this model as it was extremely popular. In fact, Bersa released a model that copied it down to the tiniest detail & they still make it. For those whom may not know, Sig made a P-230 & then followed with a P-232. Outside looks the same, but Sig tweaked a few internals for the P-232. At the time, their only real competition was the Colt Mustang line. Due to the grip size & feel, the Sig outsold the Colt by a huge margin. Sorry to ramble in a for-sale ad...............

  11. I had a Glock 40 MOS with a RMR. The 40 is basically the same gun but with a 6" barrel. I would shoot some pretty stout Underwood ammo hunting rounds thru it and the RMR had no problem handling the recoil. I preferred the RMR over irons sights for hunting. Made for quick shooting when I was stalking through thickets.

Also includes M-Lok sling swivel adapter, military type sling (good one) and Crimson Trace red dot. $600 cash, ftf in Sevierville or nearby. Buyer must be eligible to purchase a firearm in TN. 14. The "LE" variants of the 1301T come without threading for chokes, there is nothing fishy going on here.

  16. CZ-52: This is ancient history and may not apply. Back in the day I had gotten an nice specimen from the main importer. This gun had a drop safety. If loaded and the hammer dropped the gun would discharge. There was a recall. The reason was given that those guns had been refurbished with problems resulting. These guns are interesting well made firearm. In those early days someday in the homeland had dropped the ball. I know not to trust any drop safety without a safe tryout.

  19. Introducing Shane Kerwin and Personal Survival Solutions: As most of you know, I am a firm believer in getting good training from reputable and knowledgeable educators with experience in firearms safety, effective and responsible use of firearms for personal protection, risk avoidance and de-escalation techniques, unarmed combat and personal emergency medical skills. It is very rare to find a person who can educate on more than one or two of those concepts at a high level of proficiency. That is not to say there is anything wrong with finding a person who is an expert in any one facet of "preparedness", but rather to point out that while we all endeavor to be well-rounded practitioners, it is difficult to find people who are far enough down that road themselves that they can effectively instruct others. Often times, the people who operate at that level of proficiency come to us from highly trained, highly specialized units of military service or law enforcement. Shane Kerwin, founder of Personal Survival Solutions, is such a person. Mr. Kerwin served in the US Army's 3rd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group as a junior Medical Sergeant. During his 16-year tenure with 5th Group, Shane served as junior and senior Medical Sergeant, Company senior Medical Sergeant, Special Operations Target Interdiction Course (SOTIC), senior Cadre and Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, Company Operations Sergeant, and Detachment Operations Sergeant (Team Sergeant). During his time with 5th Group, he deployed 7 times in the Global War on Terrorism and has additional deployments under his belt. Now operating in the civilian sector, Shane Kerwin is bringing intensive, realistic and proven skills and concepts to the rest of us. He has made it his new mission to help regular people protect themselves and increase the security of their families by imparting what he has learned on the topics of Mindset, Weapons, Skills, Equipment and Environment. The ultimate goal is to teach you to make good critical decisions to mitigate threats and respond to an increasingly dangerous world. I hope that you will not only join me in welcoming Mr. Kerwin and PSS to our community, but that you will click over to their website, learn more about what he has to offer, and sign up for a class or two. Maybe we'll end up in one together. Website: https://www.personalsurvivalsolutions.com

  22. Don't expect it to change any time soon. Most are going into ammo production. We are getting what's left over, which is near zero, and at astronomical prices, if you find any.
