Sir, I have an over/under Savage 24H-DL 22Mag/20 Gauge I would be willing to give your son if he is interested. It is in excellent mechanical shape but has some wear marks, missing bluing, lite receiver pitting etc. (I just shot it today to verify functionality). It has great calibers for small game and bigger varmints. The 20 gauge takes 3 inch shells and there was a scope mount drilled and tapped on the barrel, (have scope mount). The gun is a 1970ish model and I would be proud to pass ownership to your son as a new hunter. I will also include a gun case and ammo. My only requirement is that you and your son test fire and take possession of the gun at my ranch. I will PM you with my # and can send pics.

I'll do a review of this one soon. It arrived yesterday at @sigbrown1297's FFL and I was able to pick it up late in the afternoon. (Many thanks, Jonathan!) I installed the Holosun 407K green-dot optic on it last night and then swapped on the Wilson Combat grip module today. If all goes well, I may get to dial-in the dot and do a little shooting with it Friday or Saturday. Right now all I can offer is that I love the size, weight and the way it feels in hand and on the belt. I wore it around the house today in a new PHLSTER Pro holster and couldn't even tell it was there. I am pretty sure this will be my go-to companion for summertime use and when on duty at church. 12+1 rounds in a slim and small form factor with an optic? Winning! Pretty much stock, with the Holosun 407K optic installed. With the Wilson Combat XL grip module installed. PHLSTER Pro P365XL holster with DCC Monoblock clip.

Up for sale/trade I have my CZ P-10C. The P-10 C has close to around 300 rounds through it and does come with a holster. It has not seen daily use and does not have much, if any, holster wear on the gun. Asking $400 - SOLD

I've been wanting a Medford for awhile, so I purchased this one from Blade HQ. They offered an engraving option so I chose this message. I like it but it's going to need broken in the liner lock is stiff, blade action is smooth and opens really smooth. So here's the pics. Not sure why the picture showed up not turned right, I switched them in my settings.

I hate to hear this. One of the things about a community the size of TGO that has as many years behind it as we do is that sooner or later we find ourselves saying farewell to friends in this manner. I never gets any easier.

Remington 870, asking $500.00 Used but excellent condition 20” 12 GA Remington 870 SPS 7+1 for sale, best guess is that it has 150 - 200 shot shells through it in its lifetime. Modified with a Surefire 618LMG-B LED Forend Weaponlight (MSRP $600.00), TacStar 6 shell side saddle, and a Knoxx Spec Ops stock. Still have original parts and owners manual. As you can in the photos the momentary pressure pad on the forend has some wear (more than anything just from sitting around it seems) but still works perfectly fine.

Toss them! Toss them my way! Just kidding of course. Garufa is spot on, the whole reason we resize our brass is that it has expanded during firing and the bullet won't be tightly gripped by the case neck. And when you have brass fired in a different rifle, or stuff collected at the range, you can be pretty sure it won't chamber properly. You can resize brass many times before it fails, depending upon a number of factors that you'll figure out as you reload. Just be sure to inspect your brass before reloading. Keep an eye open for cracks in the neck and for signs of overpressure. (You can look that up, others have explained it better than I can.)

I headed for "Cast Boolits" quick when I started loading 308 with cast bullets. One go to load was 16gr. of 2400. I repeatedly got 1.25" ten shoot groups at 100 yards using 185gr. from an antique Lyman mold. These were 100 yard matches. The rifle is an old unmodified Savage 110 FP 308 caliber rifle. That load is probably not what you are looking for. I would suggest looking at Cast Boolits. There's a world of information there. Also Veral Smith's " Jacketed Performance with Cast Bullets"

Even though they're expensive, Ducati has a reputation for the odd poor casting. I can think of nothing that would cause this failure apart from a part that is defective from the manufacturer. In this case I think the bike would have had a catastrophic failure had it run for 5 minutes longer. I saw no sign of the crack before removing the belt, but once the belt tension was relieved the outside half just fell off. Whew!

Sorry to hear, always seemed like a good guy on here, and he'll be missed. May his memory be a blessing.

Your welcome. Glad you found the info useful. I have a variety of M&P holsters. Most of my holsters for use with a light are larger ALS holsters of various models. The main gun I run the TLR7 on is my M&P Compact in the picture below. The holster is from Cascadia Concealment. I have found it to be a good general purpose/range holster. Well done on the 10mm. That is my next purchase. Really like my Sig P220 single action 10mm but I am slowly putting dots on everything I can. The M&P 10mm being dot ready really helps with that and I plan to have one soon. The Sig was my constant companion last time I went to Yellowstone. Next time it will be the M&P loaded with 200gr hard cast lead bullets from Underwood.

I had to teach one of my kids not to limp wrist a semi auto pistol. I expect this is fairly common.

Also, bear in mind that if you chop down any shotgun, you'll be losing any choke. You'll essentially be creating a cylinder bore. Lots of places will thread & install removable chokes, but that'll add considerably to the cost. Double the barrels, double the cost. If you stick to a short barreled cylinder bore, you'll be effectively cutting down the usable range by an incredible amount. For purely HD work, not an issue, but for a fun gun, 20yds is going to frustrate you.
