Yup-that one has all kinds of I have a Henry H006M in .41 mag I have standing in the corner of the bedroom- Fitted with a Skinner Peep-ghost ring with no insert- It will shoot a 2 inch group at 50 yards with no eyeball help- I also like the traditional appeal-

Not a lot beyond it being a concern. Most of our loads are contracted so that our customers pay for fuel. Or at least most of it. It's all hurting though. The cost of new trucks, tires, repairs on existing trucks, etc. All those things are substantially inflated right now. If you know any kids graduating high school that wanted to learn a trade, diesel mechanics are in high demand and make a lot from what I understand. More overtime than you could possibly want I assume. The next year or two will be interesting I bet.

A couple of paring knives I just finished, getting sent out. Ready to go to work in the kitchen. Steel is 1/8" thick 12c27 stainless heat treated and cryo tempered to 59 - 60Rc. Knives are 8 3/8" long with a blade length of 4" , full flat grind on blade. The handles are nicely shaped to fit in the hand comfortably. Top one has Black Palm scales, bottom one is Rosewood. I have a BCM Recce 16 for sale. It has an upgraded Geissele trigger on it. Bought brand new from Primary Arms in February of 2022. Less than 200 rds through it.

Saw this on another forum just happens to be one of my local shops that I stop into regularly. Was just there last week and the prices were a bit higher.

What a big surprise.

After some discussions on here I decided to go to windrock range today for some much needed relaxing shooting. I was very pleased with the range there. Talked to the owner for a few minutes, very pleasant and personable. I like how the range was set up and met some new fellow shooters. Definitely a place I will be back to soon. one of the pistols that I shot was my Rex Zero 1. Man what a beast 400 rounds of steel ringing fun with zero hiccups. The recoil was light and the trigger in double action was very nice. I highly recommend both for inexpensive fun

Consider this your monthly supply chain update. The trucking company I work for this time last year was declining 10,000 loads per week. Now we are declining around 1,000 loads per week. That was 10k loads we wanted to haul, but simply couldn't. We have seen a remarkable drop from even Q1 of this year. That said, I think we had our best Q1 in company history.

Just got these in today's mail. First one is their new Tactical Knives series, this one has a SV35 Blade Steel and is a Frame Lock in OD Green. Second one is their Trapper Prayer Series of Knives. This one has some special meaning to me since I've been going through Chemotherapy Treatments for a year and 5months, I'm going to carry this one in my pocket as a reminder to keep fighting to be able to beat it. We have a 35' Wildcat 5th wheel. Have had RVs since 2001. On our 4th. Still camping but don't know how much longer we will be able to do it. Always wanted an Airstream but don't like the floor plans. They are rugged and last many years but are "Expensive."

That is all kinds of wrong. I’m with you, not my thing and hard to see a ‘mission’ fit for the platform. Is the price paid when you open the demographic a bit too wide…not only the crazy pricing.

Mossberg did something similar a few years ago with their 464 SPX model. It even includes an AR style adjustable butt stock. I love lever guns, but I prefer the more traditional styles. Not the least bit interested in a tacti-cool version.

At Brownells they occasionally have them at $84.99 per 1,000 which all in by the time they get to your door, it is $137 per 1,000. I added these to a cart to see the total, it was $143 before tax. I am not that desperate yet.

We started out in a 31' Class C, and found out the seating for "senior citizens" sucks out the wahzoo while we spent a month in FL. Came home and traded the Class C for a 28' TT with rear seating for us. One slide with the dinette, but the recliner chairs have heat and massage, and work great. BR is up front, BA in the middle. A good layout and not extremely hard to set up, especially if you get a level spot at the CG.

No answers here yet, but I decided to answer my own question for those interested. I just purchased a Wilson Combat Protector AR pistol in 223/556. I wanted to try it out and I got a riser for the Vortex Viper to install it. Took it to the range a few days ago and the combo worked beautifully. Both my Son-In-Law and myself found ourselves hitting the target with more precision and consistency than we could with my other AR pistol, Daniel Defense PDW with Eotech sights. The Viper mini red dot is tiny compared to the Eotech, but the dot is super crisp and clear. The Eotech seem to always be somewhat fuzzy, even with brightness turned down. We both preferred the Vortex Viper and agreed its a good union. But, the rest of the story. I carry both my PDW and DDM4PDW to the range in a soft bag. Seems when I finished at the range, I loaded both guns in the soft case and zipped it up. With all the ammo we carry in the case, its likely a 60-70 pound bag to haul around, it's really heavy, especially for this old man. Any way when I got home and decided to clean the guns the next day, I pulled out the Wilson with the Vortex and the glass was shattered. Seems the guns were loaded sights down and me probably dropping the bag on the floor shattered the glass. Of course the Eotech was fine, probably would be fine if I drove my car over it....So, the mini red dots are workable on an AR platform, especially a pistol, but beware how you load and handle the soft gun bags, because the mini red dots aren't near as rugged as the Eotech. Lesson Learned the hard way....sight was sent back to Vortex today for repair, will be more careful in the future. By the way, I own several Daniel Defense ARs and have been a fan of Daniel Defense, the only issue I have with them is for the money, they should have a decent trigger. Several of mine have upgraded triggers, a Geissele 3 gun in one and a rise armament rave 140 in another. The Wilson Combat is their stock trigger. We had several people at the range shooting all the guns and over 75% preferred the Wilson Combat trigger over any of the others. I was impressed at the quality and fit and finish of the Wilson Combat AR Pistol, so if you are considering one, you will likely be pleased. I was not even looking at the Wilson for purchase until the store offered me a deal I couldn't refuse, so I took it home. I will likely be purchasing more in the future.

In this day and age expectations of privacy are foolish. Cameras are everywhere, your cell phone is a tracker and people have a tendency to put their entire life on the internet. The information is there, but There's so much of it that unless you do something to attract attention to yourself, I doubt it will ever be used or even noticed.

It always struck me as strange that the Swedes put such good workmanship and quality parts into their rifles and then used a countersink screw that looks like it came from Asia via home depot to attach the bore data disc to the stock. The four small holes behind the number is where a range plate was attached. The Swedes went to a 139 gr spitzer boat tail bullet in 1941 that had a different trajectory than the blunt nosed heavier bullet load previously used. Rather than replace the sights on rifles already in service they attached a metal plate to show the shooter where to set the existing sight to zero the gun for the new ammo at various distances. Paper decals were attached to some rifles and shellaced over. The plates and decals were placed upside down so the shooter could cant the rifle and see the information right-side up. The plate could have been removed when the sights were changed out later or by a previous owner who didn't like the looks of it. Deciphering markings on European military rifles is a study unto itself. In addition to the official manufacturing markings which are well documented, various units and organizations like regional militias, as well as armorers in repair and refurbishment depots, had their own markings which may or may not have been well documented.
