  3. This Outdoorsman is a S&W 5-screw, "pre-Model 23" made in 1955 with matching serial numbers. It has an exceptional finish with slight wear. The only rust I found is a small spot on the butt near the serial number. The N-frame is, of course, capable of handling higher than standard pressure .38 Special rounds. Sorry, the original box is long gone. I'm offering it at $1200 firm to members with a valid TDL or EHCP. Knoxville area, no trades.

  6. This is a very nice Model 18. The box (with correct S/N) is included. The pictures tell the story. Just need to know you are a legal buyer - prefer to see a flash of your HCP.

  7. Bought this about 1 year ago. Has been an amazing shotgun. Perfectly reliable with good ammo. Only had 1 FTF where the shell came apart (bad ammo). SemiAuto shotgun with room for 15 rounds in the magazine. Plus 1 in the chamber if you want. And 1 more in the feed ramps if you want. So this can be loaded with 17 rounds total. 3 ammo tubes so you can load birdshot, buckshot, and slugs and just rotate the magazine to pick which round is next. Have run about 400-500 shells through it. Mix of birdshot, buckshot, and slugs. All worked well. Asking $1100. Price lowered to $1,000. Have seen them for sale at local shops for $1399 recently. FTF Transaction in Murfreesboro. The pics below are stock pictures but mine is identical to these pics. UPDATE: Added my own pic below.

  10. I finally got to hold & shoot one @ the range yesterday.. The owner cordially let me run a mag with it-Yikes ! I have small/average hands and was pleased how well the pistol sat so comfortably in my hand - the trigger slid to the rear with a mildly increasing tension and then Bam ! The front strap is nicely checkered- the mag well is flared-the recoil was brisk but not "snappy" ... Now I know why there is a 6 to 8 month wait for one. I was grateful to have the pleasure of shooting it and now know what a superb machine a 1911 can be !

  11. 15 boxes of 10 each. So 150 rounds in all. At $0.50 per round that is $75 for the lot. Will trade for 7.62x51 or .308 ammo.

  12. The Bobcat is a neat little gun. I have it in .22 and .25. I use the .22 to run duds from other guns through before I dispose of them if they still don't fire. Being able to load one at a time works well. The .22 is also cheaper to practice with than the .25. I figure the .25 would make a good backup pocket or ankle carry.

  21. I finally found my favorite plastic hammer-fired pistol. These things are no longer made and are hard to find in person , at least is was for me over the past few years. I found a nice used IWI Jericho 941. For me it's the best feeling and best looking polymer pistol. I have turned into a metal gun person but this polymer one just does it for me. Old school hammer-fired but new style polymer. I don't like finger grooves on a pistol but these are extremely well placed and usable. Frame-mounted safety so it can be carried cocked-and-locked. DA/SA action. It is the well proven CZ75 design. Made is Israel by Israeli Weapons Industries. Just thought I'd share.

  22. I refuse to use a high lift jack and bought a 6 ton bottle jack with accessories instead. Those things look deadly. I keep a small piece of 2x6 in the truck for a base as well.

  23. They must be wavy gravy kinds of cool because all jeep guys carry them strapped in various places . But like you I can remember using the tire iron/lug wrench/jack handle to change a tire on a 63 Chrysler Newport. One click at a time on pavement as hot as the weather we've had recently. You wonder if its picking up the car or burying that tiny foot into the highway lol. And if you weren't on a level surface may God be with you. Each crank the jack leans further to or fro lol. Good times !

  24. If those things aren’t already banned they should be. I still remember Jacking up huge cars with these scary things with that tiny base holding up all that weight. Then again, growing up was more of an adventure back in the day. If you’re equipment didn’t kill you, then it was all good .

  25. Well, I have built 5.56, 300BO and 6.5 Grendel. I only have the 300BO and 6.5 still. I really like the 300BO. If I was going to go full Form1 SBR, I would go 300BO for the ability to shoot subsonic ammo. Sub-sonic 5.56 is basically 22LR.
