  1. I just want to wish you all the happiest Thanksgiving. The older I get the more I truly realize how much I have to be grateful for. I am very thankful for the friends that I have made courtesy of TGO as well as the simple fact that this is one place where I truly feel surrounded by "my people". Even when we disagree on things. I appreciate all of you. I hope that today you might be able to take stock of the things that are good in your life as well, whether you are gathering with family, friends, or just getting some restorative peace and quiet by yourself. Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Woke up with some discomfort and tightness in my chest Sunday morning. Went to E R at St Thomas West, in Nashville, Sunday afternoon. Monday afternoon I had to have 4 additional stents put in my veins around my heart. Now have had double bypass, with 9 stents. Feel lucky to be her on this Thanksgiving Day. Am having a great day although kinda sore. I am now 74, and want to tell you that one better have made spiritual provisions for your death, and most of all where your soul will spend eternity. My soul will be with my savior Christ Jesus in the next realm(realm of departed spirits(Paradise) if Christ don't come first. Search and find out where your souls will go before it is too late. When you get to the next realm it will be too late to change your fate. I have done the things necessary for me to be able to take advantage of God's saving Grace which He freely will give to all who follow His Son Jesus. This is serious guys. I would be glad to help you if you can get in touch with me in Lascassas TN.

  3. The new models have loading gates. I've got this model, and actually prefer the tube feed. No finger bite, and I'm not in a hurry to reload. Once the tube is full, I'm good for the hunt and it's a lot easier to dump them back out to unload then rack each round through.

  7. You’ll find that happening more as the years go on. Soon everything will be “a few years ago” even if it was last year or 10, lol.

  8. People who forget or don't think they need to scale admin proportionally with operations usually wind up regretting it. Sure, some organic growth can be absorbed, but it's not long before you need another bucket to catch the overflow when you're making those big leaps like you exampled during the Obama years. I have a hunch that taking the plea deal before any IRS investigators got into the mix was probably the best legal move to make. Those guns that weren't properly accounted for and added to other folks 4473's may well have gone out the backdoor to various sources for straight cash that wasn't reported.

  11. I bought one of these from another TGO member last year and love it. I bought another one for a Christmas Present and just found out my son wants a different firearm so Im switching direction. This just was delivered this week, so I thought I would give TGO members a chance at it. I really like this eject mechanism can be flipped to the left hand side. It also has a threaded barrel. It takes GLOCK mags, and the caliber can be changed out easily with TNW Caliber kits. This one is in Dark Earth and comes whith what is seen in the picture. Really fun to shoot. Price is $700. Really want to sell it but I do have a wish list that includes Walther PDP SD Pro or Langdon Beretta RDO or Beretta M9A4 all in 9mm. Obviously I have cash to compensate. Must be legal to buy this in Tn. Will need to see Tennessee Drivers license and must fill out a Bill of Sale. 29. Most of you who have been here a while already know this, but @BimmerFreak (Joe) is a TGO OG, a good dude and someone you don't even have to hesitate to deal with. Besides all of that, he's a very dear friend of mine so this is about as good of a vouching as I can provide. I can count the number of people I'd drive across country to help bury a body on one hand. Joe's the middle finger.

  30. I've watched since the beginning. I'm happy with the way it ended. Although I was surprised at Pamela's fate. I really expected her to have a gruesome death. Oh well. I do think the seriously screwed up the very end. They should have cut when Daryl rode away and never bothered with that useless spin off promo.

  32. Mine is my FEG PJK-9HP. It was my first. Didn't have a clue what a Hi-Power was or who John Browning was, so I lucked into it. Many have been nicer or fancier but it can't be replaced. Browning's idea perfected.

  33. Just depends. If you're filming a movie, S&W Model 327 TRR8. If you're a movie villain with style and class, Colt Python 6". If you're actually trying to run and gun with it, my personal fav S&W Modell 66 Combat Magnum. If you're trying to carry it in your gym shorts, a Ruger LCR. If you're trying to shoot full house magnum loads every single day for the rest of your life and you don't care about it being fancy, Ruger GP100.

  34. Personally, I love the Colt Python. But, due to the cost of getting one, it is tough. So, I would echo the endorsement of the Ruger SP-101 earlier mentioned.

  35. IMHO it would be the older pre-lock S&W L-frame 586/686. This gun was designed specifically for the .357 Cartridge. The older K-frame was nice to carry, but proved to be a bit light in both strength and weight for continuous use of Magnum ammo. The N-frame was plenty strong enough for whatever ammo you wanted to use. However, it is a big, heavy gun. S&W designed the L-frame to be beefy enough for any magnum ammo and still be readily carried. its the perfect .357 revolver. Just for the record, I'm also a big fan of the old Ruger Security Six line. But Ruger stupidly quit making them a long time ago. Never cared much for the GP-100 or the SP-101. They just feel clunky to me. But then if you truly want the best of the best and can afford the price : Korth!
