  1. This was from "Boys Life" magazine. I got it as a Boy Scout. To this day I wish I had a Nylon 66 . . . $49.95 back then.

  3. Not doubt they were. But if you go hunting Africa big game with a 22 LR, bad things happen.

  4. I think his post was a bit tongue-in-cheek, as the Tennessee fans seemed to outnumber the Vandy crowd on their home field ...

  11. I have it and love it. I have found the oddest things that it has bits for. Like installing the firing pin in a break top pistol.

  12. I hope we get in the playoffs. I know the first game we play will be really tough since we are a smaller school but I at least want the chance.

  13. I agree with this. It doesn't make sense to allow a two loss team in when these teams have 0-1. Had TN not got blown out by South Carolina I would have argued they deserve to be in over Ohio State.

  14. I think it it will be Georgia Michigan TCU Ohio State - still think they are the best of the one loss teams.

  15. On the brighter side for Vandy , they improved quite a bit this season in Lea's 2nd year. They really need to find a versatile QB.

  16. To be honest , I was expecting a better showing from Vandy. One of the many reasons I don't bet on sports . Vandy just could never keep a drive going. Going for it on 4th down early in the game , deep in your own territory kinda set the tone.

  20. So I have been on the search for a welding class where I can go learn the "right" way to weld. I can "farm" weld with a Mig and Stick, but I wouldn't call it pretty. I also have a Tig that I would like to start to learn to use correctly. My projects have seemed to work up to this point, but I would really like to learn some proper technique. My problem is that I can't seem to find any classes that used to exist where someone could go a couple of nights a week for 12 weeks or something and get some basic knowledge and experience. Everything I find is a technical college or CC that offers classes to someone wanting to make Welding their career and requires going 5 days a week in the middle of the day. Does anyone happen to know of anywhere that does the classes like they used to around Nashville. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong places. I have all of the equipment and could just youtube and do things with trial and error, but for me it isn't the same as some real instruction. Thanks in advance for any insight. I thought someone here may know of somewhere that does something like this.

  22. Neyland would have made a fine neutral stadium for that game. It actually got louder at Sanford (126 db) than Neyland when we beat Alabama (125 db). That damn noise is unnerving, lol.

  27. I have the 12 gun wall mount that came with panels that mounted just fine as its length covers several studs. I have 4 of the 3 gun mounts that I used high weight drywall anchors into 1/2 sheetrock and they have held up just fine. I also have several of their single pistol and rifle mounts that I used the high weight drywall anchors with no issues. Can't say I read any of the reviews. High quality brackets and hangers. I didn't use their screws unless they went into a stud, if no stud I used the wall anchor and supplied screws and painted them black.

  33. I was too, but then again I never give them any respect. They often do strange things. Maybe they couldn’t handle the rain or a full stadium. Either way, I don’t care…I’m VFL.

  35. For sale is an Igloo Trailmate 70qt Cooler. Excellent cooler for picnics, fishing, etc. We used it on one fishing trip and it worked excellent in all aspects except pulling it long distances on loose, sandy conditions. No problem keeping contents cold. This cooler would be perfect for pier or bank fishing or even short distances on sand. Plenty of storage, wet and dry and keeps ice for at least 24 hours in hot temperatures. Please see link for details. https://www.igloocoolers.com/collections/featured-products/products/trailmate-journey-70-qt-cooler $175 $200 FTF in the Nashville area

  36. I just picked up one of their SSR models (stainless, Novack sights, ambi safety, light rail, etc) and a Ultimate Match model with hand lapped barrel, adjustable sights, ambi safety, mag well, etc.. Both are a heck of a lot of gun for the price. Here are some photos of the Ultimate model.
