I renewed my carry permit online on 1/16 and it arrived yesterday. 8 days. Impressive.

Selling this Tactical Sports Orange that mostly just sits in the safe. It's pretty well mint except for a little salt in the magwell. All items are for sale only - no trades. Serial numbers have been obscured in these photos, but they are present on all firearms. I have ammunition for all of them for separate sale. All purchases must be FTF near Knoxville to legally eligible Tennessee residents. Buyers must be willing to sign a bill of sale and provide a copy of your valid Tennessee DL or HCP (or allow me to take a photo of it). AMD-65 $750 - This is a kit AMD-65 assembled by CII of Versailles, KY, from a FEG stamped receiver with a folding wire-style stock. It has a Tapco G2 trigger and has been adapted to accept standard 30-round 7.62x39 AK magazines. I have fired ten rounds through it with no problems. There are the usual AK safety scratches, some scuffs on the grips, and some slight wear near the sling point. As shown in the photo, the sights are slightly canted, but I did not find it to be a problem. Also included are one 30-round Tapco magazine, five 30-round Magpul PMAGs, one 20-round Magpul PMAG, and a stretchable sling. Remington 870 Express Magnum 12ga $350 - This shotgun has an extended magazine tube that holds six 2 3/4in. high-brass shells. It has what appears to be a baked-on finish that has survived well during my use. If I remember correctly, the date code on this one indicates a 1992 or 1993 date of manufacture. I have owned it since around 2010 when I bought it at a gun show, so I have no idea of the round count through this gun, but wear is visible on the action bars. As pictured, swivel studs and a sling have been added along with a barrel-mounted light and a stock sleeve shell holder. Also included are two additional extended magazine springs. Rossi RB .22lr $150 - New and unfired. I added a sling but nothing else. Factory box is included. Glock 20 $500 - This one is a Gen 3 SF model. I bought it new and have not carried it more than five times. It has had exactly 31 rounds of FMJ ammo fired through it. I installed a Lone Wolf stainless steel guide rod assembly but will also provide the factory assembly. Included are a total of four 15-round magainzes, the factory case and contents, a kydex trigger guard cover, and a Phalanx Defense open-style universal IWB holster. CZ P-07 9mm $400 - I bought this CZ new and have carried it regularly. I has exactly 71 rounds fired through it. It is currently configured with the decocker only, but can be converted to a safety decocker. There is some slight holster wear near the serial number, but it is not significant. Included are a total of four 15-round magazines, the original factory case and contents (including two extendable magazine base plates), and Phalanx Defense full-size universal IWB holster. S&W Shield 2.0 9mm (No Safety) $300 - I bought this one new this past summer and have carried it some, but it shows no holster wear that I can see. I have fired exactly 30 rounds thought it. Included are three 7-round magazines and one 8-round magazine with grip extension, the factory box and contents, a leather magazine holder, a kydex trigger guard cover, and a Remora mini IWB holster. Beretta Pico $200 - This one is what Beretta calls the "improved" version of the Pico. I bought it a few years ago and have carried it extensively but fired only about 40 rounds through it. Included are three standard 6-round magazines, one 6-round magazine with grip extension, and the factory box and contents.

Therein is the essence of the issue. If we have a functioning definition of an adult, the age of emancipation, draft age, and age of criminal liability, then all the rights, privileges and protections of adult citizenship should thence apply. If we say yeah but not these rights or those rights and cite maturity, then we need to recalibrate the society's definition of the age of majority for all things. My son is 50 days away from 18. He is a better marksman than most LE and military, and better at actually fighting his handgun than most gun owners. At the age of 10, his *younger* brother beat 44 adults including SWAT, Recon Marines, Sheriff Deputies and several veterans in a man-on-man hostage rescue competition. Hostage rescue shot from concealment followed by cleanup of two more aggressors. Smoked 'em. Give either boy a scenario, and you'll be amazed at their situational awareness and self defense methodology. Hopefully they are never in fear for their lives, but they've trained for a very bad day to survive physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. On the other hand, some of their classmates are eating Tide Pods. So yeah, it's a struggle.

The unwritten shorthand is that the hard cast bullet is assumed to have a flat, wide meplat with sharp edges for similar penetration to FMJ but better wound channel creation. The problem is - and is seldom addressed - is that the best bullet design with a purely flat meplat would probably not feed reliably out of a semiautomatic. A deep penetrating, expanding JHP is not a bad choice for bear, in my opinion. Most LE "barrier blind" rounds (another misnomer) would do well. Think Hornady Critical Duty. Sacrilege, they say. Well, "they" probably haven't actually read the scholarly study of human/bear encounters that concluded every single person who actually employed their firearm against the attacking bear, survived - and almost all without injury. *Most* of those engagements were with 9mm and 40S&W law enforcement ammo. The one guy who shot his bear and survived with the most serious wounds did so with his toes shot off - he put his legs up in defense, and proceeded to shoot the bear through his own feet in the heat of the moment. Another pair of guys got thrice pounced by a very determined grizzly, and successfully drove him off (3 times) with an itty bitty micro 9mm carry handgun. A fascinating study, well worth the read. I'll come back and link it if I get around to it. The moral of the story is, it matters more how you carry and whether you draw, than precisely what you draw. Having said all that, I run high pressure/high velocity 10mm JHP out of a 4.6" M&P 2.0 10mm when I'm in the woods. And sometimes even when I'm not!

I can’t comment on that particular model but .32 ACP is generally a very pleasant and accurate cartridge. You may not need to hunt too far for ammo. I have a supply that I’ve been thinking of moving on as I no longer have a .32.

Here are the findings of Dean Weingarten's study, Handgun or Pistol Against Bear Attacks (2021) 104 cases, 97% Effective Key Takeaways Pistol shots stopped 97% of the bear attacks. 12.5% of shooters were injured after firing on the bear. Weaker ammo needed more shots to stop the attack than stronger ammo. Hollow points needed more shots; multiple reports cited them glancing off of bear skulls. The 4 failures: .22lr vs. polar bear, .38 special vs. black bear, .357 Magnum vs. grizzly bear, .45 ACP vs. black bear. 5 incidents were initiated by dog(s). Dogs assisted in 2 incidents, buying time for the owner to fire. Several successful uses of firearms followed the failure of pepper spray. Warning shots were successful about half the time they were tried. Aiming for the heart or lungs was highly effective By the way, this is in direct conflict with the "use bear spray" results you'll get if you google "firearm or bear spray vs bear." Notice who posts and parrots those results: typically progressive, liberal, and conservationist sources. The most-often cited studies on these pages are BYU's 2012 study, which found firearms generally ineffective and bear spray 97% effective. I just watched this about an hour ago and thought of you when I did. I was actually going to post it and mention you. That's crazy...and this guy was on point. It does suck. But being truthful and thoroughly considering the subject matter rationally is the way to deal with it.

Believe Wednesday is their standard day of maintenance on the site. I have never been able to log in on wednesday and file anything. I grew up in the areas that these people call dangerous and refuse to go into. The people you are talking about are some of my closest childhood friends and I’d go so far as to say brothers. I’ve met plenty of people that would jump at the chance for a lawsuit from a car wreck or falling in a business but I haven’t met a single one that would risk an encounter with the police for that opportunity.

You'll also hear/see it as non-deadly force. In self defense, non-deadly force and deadly force are the only two options. To keep it simple always read 'force' as non-deadly force. Deadly force is (or should be) written as deadly force. Knowing when one becomes the other is key to an intelligent response.

People scared for their lives don’t think or act rationally. That makes the responsibility of the agents of the state to act correctly and justly all the more important. Yeah, it’s a difficult job, but it’s no excuse for what went on here.

I guess it's kinda like insurance policies. You may have insurance to cover your car but, if for example, you rent an apartment, if you needed coverage for that, you would need to buy a separate renter's insurance policy.

I dry fired my friend's trigger yesterday. The break felt exactly like my Timney does, but the reset was a lot more pronounced. He played around with several connectors and settled on one of the Lone Wolf connectors. I would buy one of these before anything else if I wanted to change the trigger from stock.
