Interesting piece I took on trade. Friend of mine got this for his HS graduation in 1979 and never fired it. It's a new in box, 1979 Ruger stainless .44 percussion cap black powder revolver, 7.5" barrel, that was the Cadillac of cap and ball pistols back then. Has the papers and factory nipple wrench. Before the beatings begin, it must be noted that regardless of the morality of an issue used to restrict the ability to possess a firearm, under Bruen if it was not a qualifier in 1791, it is not one now... The important words out of this caser are thus: No longer should lower courts evaluating firearm restrictions “defer to the determinations of legislatures,” because while “that judicial deference to legislative interest balancing is understandable—and, elsewhere, appropriate—it is not the deference that the Constitution demands.” And while “end- justifies-the-means” rationalizations should generally be understood as antithetical to the rule of law, Bruen now leaves no doubt that such rationalizations have no place in our Second Amendment jurisprudence. The question here is thus whether stripping someone of their right to possess a firearm solely because they use marijuana is consistent with the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation. If it is not, then § 922(g)(3) cannot be constitutionally applied to Harrison—no matter the reasonableness of the policy it embodies. Moreover, the Supreme Court has held that “‘the people’ . . . unambiguously refers to all members of the political community, not an unspecified subset,” further explaining that the term refers to “a class of persons who are part of a national community or who have otherwise developed sufficient connection with this country to be considered part of that community.” The Court thus concluded that there is a “strong presumption” that the Second Amendment right to keep and carry handguns publicly for self-defense “belongs to all Americans.” Because “[c]onstitutional rights are enshrined with the scope they were understood to have when the people adopted them,” historical analogues in existence near the time the Second Amendment was adopted in 1791 are of primary relevance.

This has been one of my dream guns for the longest time. Closest I ever got were the series of MSAR STG E4's I had over the years. The MSAR's were great, but I had always wanted a Steyr. Since Steyr started importing them again a while back and prices have dropped some, I was able to pick one up. Who needs an SBR or braces when you can have a bullpup! I did get a little sacrilegious and went with the NATO stock, but that is because I had an abundance of AR mags. Since I was already familiar with the platform I knew what I wanted to add so ... it got the 20/20 Sear, Corvus QD takedown pin, Ratworx TR-1A fore rail, Ratworx Hybrid bolt, and a Corvus brass deflector. I added a Magpul/ADM QD bipod, foregrip, and Strike Cloak FH with a Strike Oppressor (for indoor ranges). Haven't been able to make it to the range yet and I am still experimenting with optics. I'll either use a Holosun 510C with a flip to the side 5x magnifier or a PA SLx 1-6x24 ACSS. The pics below have a Burris AR223, that I was using as a placeholder. The Bi-pod is for the range. I also have a Wilderness Tactical Giles sling that works great with this gun. Now all I need is that full size Uzi B and my 80's movie dream gun collection will be made! Bravo for the Federal Judicial system!!! This is the right ruling. I hope it is appealed to SCOTUS, who rules the same way. I've felt for a very long time, that marijuana should be treated just like alcohol and be made legal and then regulated just the same. Of course, our fearless leaders in DC, will fight like the devil to not see this happen, because it means money for law enforcement agencies across the country. This would affect the lifestyle of 10s of thousands of bureaucrats everywhere. And money is power in Washington. Now if we could just get the judiciary to declare the Federal and State income tax system illegal!!!

Yeah, I’d question this validity even in Washington state. A trust can hold anything from land to cars to jewelery whatever. An NFA trust is just a trust like any other it’s just geared towards satisfying the ATF requirements for qualified persons. So you control the schedule sheet, you can add anything you wish to the trust including non-NFA firearms. if I’m wrong I welcome correction

Yes, and in that order. I was a small child and an easy pick for bullies. There was a group of guys in our neighborhood that loved to chastise me simply because it was something to do and likely made them feel better about their own pathetic selves. (Most of these guys would later spend time in prison). I wish I had had the confidence to catch one of them out alone and clobber him, but instead I spent several years walking with a big stick or calling friends to come to my house if we wanted to go somewhere else so I didn't have to walk down the street alone. That situation went on until one of them was dealt with. That situation impacted me mentally for many years, even as a grown adult. I was always afraid that someone would give me a hard time for no reason and there was nothing that I could do about it. I also didn't have the confidence to stand up for myself when my employers would tell me to do unreasonable things. It took 15-20 years or so but I got past all of that. I got my confidence back. Now my focus is on making sure that my son has the ability to not let that happen to him.

All due respect. Spinning failures into successes is an obvious play to hide impotence resulting from failure to act in a timely manner. Its pointless to ask what possible intel was gleaned when they proved this was not the mission when they destroyed the evidence. They won this game of chicken. I thought I would share a little win I had today. I went to a LGS here in Knoxville and looked through the discount orphan magazine bin. I found a S&W 1911 8rd for $9, and an original old stock Mini 14 40 rd for $20. I’ve been married 35 years- it’s the little things that keep me going.

I have my semi-autos , and now I want the "end all be all" revolver in 38/357mag ? I have searched for this a lot and for me it seems to be the Ruger SP101 and GP100 . Those revolvers seem to be very easily detailed stripped for any problem that may arise or parts replacement. I like Glock for the reason that they use very few parts. Any information is appreciated.

I sold a Glock 26 to a member on here but I couldn't find the factory case last year . I just found the original factory hard case and can't remember who bought it. Sorry to place this ad here but I think it's the best place to find the person who bought my Glock 26 last year. If it was you then just send me a message on here and verify the serial number and I'll get you the case. It's a kinda special case since it was marked "rebuilt" on the label but Glock did it since this was used a display gun at a convention/promotion. Thanks and hopefully the member chimes in soon. I'm not making excuses for Hannah. merely pointing out that they made her job much more difficult than it should have been. She was distracted from her primary job by being used as a gopher by the producers. She did complain about it only to be ignored. Just as many of the safety rules were ignored by the producers. As for her credentials, she's the daughter of legendary shooter, fast draw artist and movie armorer Thell Reed. She's been handling guns her whole life. She wanted to follow in his footsteps. IIRC, this was only her second movie as armorer. She was hired because they could get her cheap. Again back to the all mighty dollar. I feel for the girl and understand her plight. But if she really did screw up, then so be it. let the chips fall where they may.

You don’t need to submit anything to the ATF to add non-NFA regulated items to the trust. The trust is just a legal document. The only reason the ATF has any say at all is because you have transferred a regulated item into the trust and they are regulators if those items. As for any other item in the trust all you need is an amendment to the trust and add the item to the schedule sheet. And at the time of your demise all items in the trust will automatically transfer to the beneficiaries listed regardless of NFA status. The ATF can’t tell you that you are forbidden to add firearms to an NFA trust, they don’t have that authority

Which is another mystery, why shoot a missile? A few well placed 20mm rounds into the body of the balloon could have made less of a mess of the payload, possibly letting us recover more of it to study.

Something is better than nothing, I suppose, but a belt is a very poor substitute for a legitimate tourniquet. Carrying a CAT or SOF-T tourniquet is recommended. I have low tolerance for the RATS tourniquets even though people I know who should know better still swear by them. Again, something is better than nothing, but the RATS design is as useful/useless as a belt.

I carry the twins when I’m wearing my deadpool jacket, otherwise glock 43x with shield 15 rounders & CRKT provoke.

I think it was more a test than actual spying. Like others, I can't see the benefit from that balloon over what they can get through low orbit satellites and existing cyber efforts. What I think the actual test involved, was how territorial we would be in airspace that high, and if/where we would take it down. I think China was looking for a parallel to what they could presumably get away with and keep a straight face when it comes to our surveillance efforts over territory they claim in and around Taiwan, and other points of interest for them in the South Pacific. Remember, for China, there isn't much difference in what they control versus what they claim. The stronger they've gotten, the more they've been pushing on the latter. The OMG factor from the local and national news was entertaining (sorta), but the real impact I think will be in how this translates to what happens in the areas China has in mind for annexing 10-20-30 years down the line. I don't think this is the last trial balloon (pun intended) we might see.

I’ve been a member of the “gun-a-month” club for more than a few decades. I usually find the best deal I can online and just have the nearest FFL to where I’m likely going to be that day receive for me. Since late summer of ‘22 I can’t seem to be in line in a single store and not see this happening to someone. The system has never been more automated with most stores using laptops for forms & having excellent guidance from staff. I can’t escape the feeling this is systematically “baked-in” at this point. Very happy you didn’t give up- I think we’re entering an era where we all have to push past inconvenience to enjoy our rights and freedoms.

We've dealt with each other enough, that I trust Smith and his judgement. So this is open for the first cash going to Smith! For the sake of clarity, I asked Smith some questions, and he gave me straight, honest awnsers. It was my choice to not proceed with purchasing the MR920. I admire Smith very much for his honesty. Would you try to talk a man out of a sale if you were convinced it wasn't right for the buyer? You have to respect that kind of integrity. I do.

I got denied once because a guy in Oregon had my last name and a social that was 2 digits different than mine and had been arrested for a felony. It got overturned on appeal. Since my last name is Smith, I put my social on every 4473. I can tell you that a lot of denials I saw working in a gun store were because of clerical issues. Cases where local charges or complaints had been filed with the feds, but when the local charges/complaints were dropped or cleared, the state didn't file the disposition to the feds. The feds will still show a pending charge/complaint and thus the denial. The state has to file charges with the feds but are not required to file a disposition if cleared.

Just about anything in .32 caliber is getting hard to find. I'd love to have a revolver chambered in .327 Fed, which can also shoot .32 H&R, .32 S&W long and short rounds. But good luck finding one, anywhere!!! Ruger and Taurus still list them in their catalogue, but they aren't new out on the street apparently. As for the Ruger Single Six in. 32 H&R, apparently, it's a reloaders dream and a fantastic woods gun. Very capable of putting meat in the pot, while roughing it. I've not seen a Single Six under $500 anywhere and most are north of that by a $100 to $200. I see .32 long on the shelves often at several places around Knoxville, but not .327 or .32 H&R.

When you filter by 32 H&R Mag there are no results. Out of stock seem to be the norm. Your low-end pricing is more in line with what I guessed ($500-600). Thank you for you help!

With all that's going on with the Pistol Brace and everything else with the Gun Industry it's no surprise that they have stepped up the denial process. I was on another site I belong to and there were several discussions on them stepping up on denials. Glad you got approved, now find a good range and stsrt shooting.

I can get a Good Deal on a Dan Wesson. Its in 45acp. But He might get 9mm in soon.. I would like 45acp. But with ammo cost and having plenty of 9mm on hand...I may wait for the 9mm to come in .... Bet i end up getting both 1800 budget gives me alot of options.. I will save up a couple of months and get the other later. ALOT of people have told me Dan Wesson is prime pick Colt has run really close behind...

Buy a Dan Wesson first, doubt you will have to buy another one. 45 traditional, 9mm more fun and will shoot it more.

Before 9mm increased in use, 45acp was more reliable in a 1911. Improvements in ammo and the 1911 have made 9mm a very reliable round. I haven't had a problem in the several 9mm 1911 pistols I have.

How do they make whole the now defunct company(s) who were legally manufacturing these stocks?
