  1. LWRC SMG 45 in excellent condition. This one does not have the "random flyer" issue. It did when I got it but LWRC fixed it (for free) and it is all good now. It groups amazingly well. It is very accurate. Includes 4 extra 25 round magazines ($50 each) plus the 2 that came with the gun for a total of 6. Also includes a magazine loader ($40) and original box and manual too. These are $2995 MSRP and go for $2300-$2999 on auction sites. I am asking $2,200 for a FTF meeting in Murfreesboro. Happy to answer any questions about it. Can provide targets showing groups or even shooting video if needed to demonstrate how well it functions.

  4. Watch the Department of Safety come in and "Oppose" the bill, at about 3:01 see Stroeker show she has not read the bill when she asserts it takes out the criminality of 2 DUIs in 10 years, stalking and being adjudicated mentally defective (which it does not do, and she is corrected by legal at 8:22) and Todd's response starting at 16:50 and Grills question of the Department at 11:17. Parkinson ask why they are not opposing the 18 year old shift this year and she does when they opposed it last year? It was Constitutional then as well, they were just made to do it via a court challenge, or they would still be opposed. I will not comment further except to say that MS Stroker admits the Governor told her to "oppose" the bill, and that it would in fact achieve "Real Constitutional Carry" (her words) and the Department and the Governor are against that for the average Citizen.

  5. Me and my son put on a couple hundred miles running out to Center Hill lake area today. He had a senior (high school) off day and wanted to ride. Beautiful weather. Made a turn onto the the scenic route and found out the S40 gets 160 miles to an empty tank!

  7. I have 9 boxes of this fantastic self defense ammo. Each box is 50 rounds each for a total of 450 rounds. When you can find this ammo it is generally over $1.00 - $2.00 per round plus tax and plus shipping as well. I am asking $375 for all 450 rounds which is about $0.83 per round for a FTF meeting in Murfreesboro. If you don't want all 450 rounds, I will sell individual boxes of this ammo for $50 each.

  8. This state wants a monopoly on violence, hence their reluctance to sign your forms. Although, I do think LEOSA permits are dividing the People into subsets, which Heller decried. Further, the TN Supreme Court had ruled off duty LE are simply Citizens, with no enhanced police powers unless they are on the "clock" (Revco v. White). If you want to secure the right to arms guaranteed by the Constitutions of the State and Union, start calling and e-mailing the Senate Judiciary Committee, that is going to be the heavy lift.

  9. I watched it and that was somewhat a cluster. I wish the proponents of the bill knew a little more about firearms, especially when machine gun regulations came up. They were trying to convey that it isn’t easy to buy a machine gun, but it’s actually a lot harder than they made out.

  10. I'd say the Ruger P-Series in 9mm and .45ACP. They are the P85 , P89 , P90 , P93 , P95 , and P97. These are fat and and chunky pistols. They are DA/SA hammer fired guns. The P95 and P97 have firberglass filled polymer frames. The frame rails that the slide rides on is the same material that the frame is made of , so you have a metal slide riding directly on polymer rails , yet the rails never wear down. These guns were extremely reliable. I have several and wont part with them. When shooting them , their action seems to be slow when compared to other pistols. The slide makes a sound similar to "kaachunk". They run and run.

  15. Chairman John Ragan has a bill (HB 1385) that would define the "intent to go armed" clause. He was approached by Department representatives yesterday prior to running his bill with the agreement to strip its usage from the TCA. He took his bill off notice to construct and amendment that will simply remove the clause from out statutes, as it is agreed, unconstitutional. This is a big deal. There is a TN Supreme Court case from 1880 (attached) that actually defined the term, somehow lost to memory in the General Assembly and its "Legal Department". Once brought to light it shows the "clause" to be in direct conflict of the definition of the 2nd Amendment per Heller, McDonald and Bruen.

  16. Their website is not working this week, but the gist of this bill: 1. Does away with criminal aspect of carrying a firearm. 2. Changes age from 21 to 18 to carry or perfect a permit. 3. Includes long guns into the the permissible carry group, all permits now will say firearms, not handguns. 4. Removes immunity for those entities that choose to post. By inference now those entities that choose NOT to post are given immunity from action ont he premises unless gross negligence or willful intent can be proved. This bill codifies the inverse.

  17. An appointment at the VA hospital in Murfreesboro coincided with a pretty nice day yesterday, so I road my R1200RT. The weather was just about perfect apart from some pretty big wind gusts that caught me out once or twice. The this morning's forecast said there was about a 20% chance of rain, so I hopped on the bike to go play racquetball. I got 80% wet about 20 minutes from home. I stopped to put on my rain gear, but it was a bit too late by then. Still, I love to ride, and the ride back home after r-ball was shirt-sleeve. I'm anxious to get back on my S1000RR, but I'll wait for warm weather AND totally dry roads for that bike. I just bought two new tires for it, so I need to put those on before I ride it, too.

Now can log into Bud Gun Shop USUALLY, Every on in awhile just typing in budsgunshop.com and hitting return takes me to another gun site also called buds...weird. Am thinking of changing search engines. But thanks to all for the suggestions. At least now I can use firefox to shop for toys.

  23. Another highly underappreciated gun is the Colt Mustang. This little pocket .380 is a wonderful pistol. Its basically a miniature 1911. Its locked breech design make recoil easy to manage and its more than accurate enough for its purpose. I have two of these. A first issue all steel model from 1983 and a newer XSP version. The XSP was what I carried on my daily exercise walks. With its polymer frame and stainless steel slide, its about as sweat proof as a gun can get. This is the only plastic gun I own. or likely ever will. But does it get the recognition it deserves? Hell NO! Instead you hear about the Sig P-238 and Kimber Micro .380. Both of which are clones of the original Mustang that preceded them by many years. AND the Mustang is usually as much as $100 cheaper.

In fact, the most accurate "out of the box" 1911 that I ever owned or fired was a Taurus. I'm not saying that the complaints some have had are not legit, just saying that my personal experience with them could not have been any better

  33. I carried a Gen 1 P32 for a couple of years. Then my oldest wanted a small carry pistol and I thought I wanted a LCP. So I bought one and gave her the little P32. It ran great with FMJs. I have a box of Silvertips for it, but after reading about rim lock with HPs, I just decided to shoot FMJs through it. Honestly doubt the HP would expand, with .32acp. I like Taurus revolvers. I have a 627 Tracker in .357 (7 shot) with a 4" ported barrel, that shots incredible. .357 158GR SJHPs feel like your shooting .38 spl with those ports! Right now, I'm seriously thinking of getting a Taurus 3" 856 .38spl (6 shot) or a 3" 605 .357 (5 shot) to use as a carry pistol. I will probably trade my S&W 442 in one or the other. I have a inch for a 3" revolver and S&W K-Frames are super expensive or made from unobtainium.
