  1. Its my understanding that this new ISO code doesn't track gun purchases directly. Its for any purchase at a store that sells guns. For example if you go to Bass pro and buy a new fishing rod, that sale will get the same code as buying a gun. As would buying camping gear. I really don't think its that big a deal.

  3. I am not a gun smith, but I am thinking the firing pin spring is binding and not letting the firing pin move forward enough to hit the primer every time. I would buy a new spring and try that.

  5. I never wanted a sub2000 until they got expensive. Go figure right? Definitely get the appeal of this S&W. Being able to leave an optic on is great for instance. For me though, i'm looking for a folding beater gun that i can throw in a box and use if i need it. So the cheaper, the better. When you start getting into $650-$700 range, then i start wondering why i'm not buying something nicer. #cheapbutnothighpoint

  6. .gov already has your info when you fill out a 4473. I wonder what Discover gets out of this. You know they aren’t doing it just out of curiosity.

  7. Smith & Wesson 1911 Scandium frame E-series with bobtail frame. Commander size with 4.25" barrel. I added the G10 grips, but still have the original, unused cocobolo e-series grips. Very little use, less than 100 rounds fired. Night sights, ambi safety, two-tone, comes with 2 mags and original case. $1400

  8. Never had any Magpul or Manticore mags, so I cannot comment on them. But I am familiar with topsy-turvy mag issues. Walther did it to me with the standard PPQ vs PDP models; then again on the FS vs compact on the PDP. It's just a plan to sell more! I swear it is!

  10. FireField 20x to 60x spotting scope, with tripod, lens covers, soft case and hard case included. Paid $100 at local store in 2022. Asking $50 FTF transaction in Murfreesboro. Tripod will raise up to about 42.5" or so.

  12. STEU is not Scorpion Unit. All Scorpion officers were reassigned to OCU. STEU is the cars that you used to see with the flip up yellow arrow on the roof. They are supposed to deal with incidents on the expressway and assist with traffic control during critical accident investigations.

  13. They handed over credit card information of clients to the FBI that were tied into JAN 6. In other words, if you paid for lodging in DC anywhere around that date and used a BOA card you could have your purchase history used as evidence.

  17. That's why I brought up what they are trying to do to force that new money on all Americans. They are wanting total control of everyone and the almighty dollar is what people depend on to live. If they have that control they can shut down your bank account with a push of a button......JMHO

  19. You do know the Sub 2000 is on sale with many vendors and has a $100 rebate from Kel-Tec on top of that? Example: https://www.familyfirearms.com/product/kel-tec-sub-2000-9mm-luger-16.25-171-black-adjustable-stock#product_detail https://www.keltecweapons.com/sub2000-rebate/

  20. Purchased in winter of 21, never fired. Factory night sites, 2 mags, all the factory paperwork. Seems like a nice gun I just do not want it anymore as I typically carry something else. 400 firm. I am in the Knoxville area. Thanks!

  21. Beautiful Remington Speedmaster 552 22lr. Appears to be the BDL with the upgraded stock and forearm. It’s is immaculate especially for being around a while. You can tell she’s a safe queen. I haven’t shot it since I’ve had it. Nice vintage Bushnell scope. It’s for sale or trade. Must be legal to own a firearm. $650 Text is fastest. 615-504-1491

  22. Department of Safety and TBI got cold feet, and did not want to remove the "Intent to go armed" following talks with their masters, so they pulled support to strike the clause, Chairman Ragan will run his original bill to define the term. I smell another law suit coming.

  23. A bolted box is the best reasonable option*, but a bolted box doesn't work on every vehicle and smash-n-grab thieves don't often carry bolt/cable cutters. A cable-tied box is a reasonable alternative, IMO. I wouldn't leave a $3000 custom piece in one, but if someone steals my $400 Glock, I really don't care. It's easily replaced. I'll be more upset about having to deal with the shop to fix the vehicle damage caused by the break-in. If a thief knows it's there and comes prepared with cable snips, he could just as easily come prepared with a battery drill and some sockets and pull the whole seat off in < 30 seconds to take the bolted box. Cable-tied boxes are also handy for travel. I can put my handgun in it in my checked baggage, and I have a place to keep it in the rental car if needed. *The absolute best would be to have something welded in place. But that's not reasonable for very many people.

  24. not always practical. Some have children and must go to school functions. Some enjoy high school games, concerts, etc. Post Office is also a no go for firearms.

  28. Well, after contacting them again and a bit of back and forth, worked out a deal on the KLX300 and got it home this evening. I am looking forward to getting a little seat time on it. Don't have a lot of experience on the smaller off road oriented bikes, but should be fun to learn. Now I have my 90/10 bike and a 10/90 bike. One thing is for sure, I can't see how anyone would want to ride one of these little things on a large highway.

  33. I think they're smart about the mag compatibility. There have been a number of PCCs/handfuns I've ignored because my mags wouldn't work in the new version. The Scorpion being the prime example. Why on earth are the new mags backwards compatible with older models and not visa versa. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's hard as hell to sell old magazines to recoup for buying a new set. *Edit* phone turned handguns into handfuns... But I kinda like it, so the typo will stay.
