Just picked this up from my FFL, my new Staccato CS. Feels good in my hands, Trigger pull is good but I'm gonna change it out for a flat faced trigger. It's close in size of my two Staccato single stack C's, and the C2 I have. I've got a Holosun 508T coming in tomorrow so I'll mount it and get everything ready to head to the range and run it against the other 3.

I believe we are in a cold war everywhere. The blue inner cities and blue states have been fighting it since the Obama years. Here's hopin it stays cold here in Tennessee. I fear it won't, however... SIGH. leroy

Sorry for this strange posting but I am just dying to know if anyone on here has ordered from Strike Industries recently and already received there items with stickers that say Thank you on the back in red sharpie? As some of you know we are moving back to TN. I worked for Strike Industries here in Vegas. I have shipped out a ton of items to TN but when I gave my 2 week notice I started writing on the back to see if someone here would get one.

Well these are known as a 2011, the two C's I have use a Single Stack Mag. and the C2 and this CS uses Double Stack Mags. These are in 9mm and I got into these a couple of years ago, I had five at one time but sold two of them, P 4.14 Full Rail the other one I sold was the P DPO 4.14. I carry my C's more they are a little more comfortable due to the size. These are soft fast shooting guns, are they worth $2000+ well you'd have to make that decision for your self If you ever shot one of the Staccato's you'd see what I'm saying about how they shoot. And there are other brands of the 2011 that are $4000+ are they worth it, probably to someone they are. Downfall to the 2011 Platform is the cost of Mags. $60+ and that turns some people away from the 2011 style guns. Where are you located at, I would be willing to bring them all to a range with ammo and let you run a few rnds. down them then you can tell me if they are worth it, I live in the Whitehouse area if you ever go to any of the indoor ranges around the Nashville area I gladly meet you. At one time I had 12+ 1911's, that included Wilson Combat CQBE's that were built to order, at least four Les Baer's, a couple of NightHawk's, Colts, and Springfield's, but I sold all but one Wilson Combat CQBE, were they worth the money did they shoot any better than a $499 1911, probably not it all depends on who's behind the trigger. But every one of those preformed like they should, and I never had a problem with any of them. I decided to get away from the 45acp due to my Cancer Diagnosis that I got two years ago, the 45 just hammered my hands to much due to the Neuropathy which is a side effect from the Chemo, the Staccato's in 9mm that I carry now and shoot don't beat my hands up like the 45acp did. Just let me know if you ever want to try one out we could make arrangements to meet at a range all you need to do is pay your range fee and I'll bring the rest. I'll get some pics of the other three Staccato's I have and post them here. Not sure I answered your question.

I think we read into this too much. These mass shootings have become so frequent that unless 10+ people are killed, it leaves the news cycle almost immediately. It's less about some narrative and more about how the media thinks they can monetize it. I've certainly become numb to it. I find myself watching the news less and less because it doesn't add value to my life.

So, I'm going to briefly veer into the political just to back everyone off the cliff a bit. Bottom Line Up Front - there's a *ZERO* percent chance this becomes law. So now the details - roughly from memory - I can source it if people are interested. These proposed "cuts" are part of Kevin McCarthy's bill last week to use as a part of the negotiation in raising the debt ceiling. It calls for a $130B cut to non-defense discretionary spending below 2010 levels (which was the high-water mark if you will) by 2033. If you look at the federal budget like a pie - it's divided up into three major pieces: There's a big chunk that's "mandatory" spending. This is defense spending, entitlement programs like social security and medicare, farm subsidies, and veteran pensions. This is sort of a third rail of budgeting - that is there is law surrounding it - so it's not a part of the annual appropriations process. This is roughly 70% of the federal budget. Then there's "defense discretionary" - these are all kinds of military-related projects that fall outside the DoD's budget above. These are the weapons programs, ship building, raises for the military, etc. This was about $800B last year - or roughly 15% of the budget. Then there's "non-defense discretionary" - this is everything else. Education, transportation, and homeland security all fall into this category. Veteran's healthcare sits here as well. This is likewise about 15% of the total budget. This is the part they're willing to play with. To get to the levels proposed above you'd need to cut all of NDD by about 22%. Take VA-healthcare out of the mix and you'd need to cut the rest of it by about 58%. This is not a serious proposal for a lot of reasons. First and foremost - McCarthy can't get 218 votes amongst his caucus to pass it. For what it's worth - I doubt he can get 218 votes on anything budget related as there are some members of the caucus that seem pretty dead set on voting against any raising of the debt ceiling. Second, this is a non-starter everywhere else. Even when the GOP has been in power, they haven't even been able to come anywhere close to meeting these kinds of cuts in the past. They know this - that's why they're not proposing specific cuts or a path to get there. I could go on - but I'm going to step back out of the political and just reassure everyone that this isn't something that has any chance of becoming law in the immediate future. I do find it interesting that the VA is messaging like they did above. Call your representative, I guess. Two more notes on the way out. First, remember that the debt ceiling has nothing to do with future spending. It's about paying the note on debt that past Congresses have already incurred. Second, my prayer is that one day our country does at least as good a job of taking care of our veterans as it does making new ones.

I agree with this statement. Hearing it always feels weird, and I don’t need to be thanked for volunteering. As you know, when we signed on that line, we took an oath to put everything on the line In defense of our country. In return, the government guaranteed us that we and our families would be taken care of if we were injured or killed. Our government already wants to keeps citizens poor and mostly ignorant to continue to fill the ranks of the military on a volunteer basis, as well as working low wage jobs. The government would eventually have to return to the draft to fill its ranks if they also develop a reputation worst than they already have if youngsters see that the government actually taking care of veterans is a myth. This is my not in my backyard moment. I know the government needs to make cuts, but I’d suggest looking at all of the foreign aid we dish out first. That’s another issue for me, because I know in many cases foreign aid is strategically necessary to our national security. Oh well, as usual, I don’t have the answers. It’s just concerning for me when I think about all of the injured young warriors who probably won’t get the benefits they’ve earned.

What’s funny is I’m actually not crazy about how the 19 fits in my hand. Even though for some reason the 43X and the 48 feel fine. I know it doesn’t really make much sense, but especially since I don’t care about concealing (because I have my 43), I’m leaning towards a full size grip.

I got this in e-mail from TFA today. Anti-gunners held a planning session in Nashville the other day. The 2 hour meeting was secretly recorded and then leaked. It discuses how they plan to cause "mayhem" at the Special Session of the legislature in August. Generally, they want to turn it into a huge mess. I don't know why, I would think that would work against them. But here's the biggie. They plan to have armed security there with them.
