  1. All boils down to Bruen and the "New" test to be applied. If there was a law on the books in 1791 you can use it, the further from that date a law is passed, the less value it has for scrutiny on 2nd or 14th Amendment issues. The take away from this case is that the plaintiff is a member of the People, and as such his rights to keep and bear arms is not to be infringed. https://www2.ca3.uscourts.gov/opinarch/212835pen.pdf

  3. It's this a pre-op for Biden? That being said, if you've done your time, you've done your time. When it's over, you're restored. Make sentences mean something and quit all the early, plea, negotiating releases, and sentences, etc. That's just for politics anyway. Do it and be done. It's idealistic but how I'd prefer it to be.

  4. Sig P320 AXG Classic. It has a $100 Grayguns trigger installed, but comes with the original trigger as well. No more than 5 mags through it, and the extra two mags in the case haven't even been inserted yet. 99.99% fantastic shape! Comes with the original Custom Works case from Negrini and everything else you see, and (edit) now also 2 NIB 21 round magazines (not pictured but I have em)! Another hundred dollar value included! Trigger: https://grayguns.com/product/p320-adjustable-hybrid-trigger/ $949 takes it home! Most places have this listed in the $1,250 range. Pick this up, then go get the matching knife! The only trade I'd be interested in is a NIB Aimpoint ACRO P2 if you have one! EDIT!! - For buyers, I'll need to see your carry permit OR a signed bill of sale for each of us. Meeting in a semi-public place, etc.

  5. I love Sako's. That is why I bought this even though I don't shoot this caliber. Since I never shoot this I though I would pass it on to someone who would actually use it. It is a 1967 L61R Sako Finnbear in 338 Win Mag. Overall it is in great shape. The bore is nice and shiny. Another reason I bought this is because it had all of the original paperwork from when it was first ordered. Just made it a little more cool in my eyes. It also comes with period scope bases and a box of Hornady Precision Hunter ammo. Not really looking for trades right now but you never know. $1300 $1000

  6. Steyr Model L Carbine 22.250 - excellent condItion. This was a special order caliber for an L Carbine - full length stock. I’d be willing to bet you won’t find a nicer one either, AND including a German 3-post reticle Mannlicher scope that came on the gun in the 70’s. As the pics show, it’s a double trigger (set trigger) setup. It’s also the magnificent hammer forged twisted barrel as well. Stunning piece. I’d “like” to trade for a mint Benelli SBE 20 gauge pkg… but since that’s a long shot to find for a trade, I’ll also price mine at $1600 Cash. You’re welcome to text me at seven31*617*seven388 with any questions.

  8. SOLD. For all who were fortunate enough to have one of the older Puma sheath knives and remember what using a quality knife felt like, here is your chance to own that quality again. The original owner bought it when he lived in Germany many years ago and never used it. I purchased it from him and have never used it either. I owned a Hunter’s Pal back in the late 70’s but lost it while hunting. I was extremely lucky to find this one but it is such a rare and collectible knife that I decided to sell it to someone who will appreciate the collectors value and I’ll buy a different knife to use for hunting now. If you aren’t familiar with these just do a little research and you’ll see what a deal this is. This one is from late 1984. There’s one on the auction site that begins with “e” that is in the same shape from 1987 and it’s listed for $483. If no one is interested I’ll throw it on the auction site and ask more and will certainly get it. I just hate to ship things and pay the extra fees. Hey, Father’s Day is June 18th. Just sayin…. Need to meet in the Brentwood/surrounding area and cash only. No trades.

  10. I think some of the mil-spec Springfield Armory 1911’s had the NM prefix. It use to be a rumor that the NM prefix meant the gun was made or at least finished in the US as opposed to Brazil. Don’t know if any of this is true.

  11. Though I have read, re-read, and studied the Constitution, I'm anything but an expert. But conviction for the commission of a crime carries penalties that deprive the criminal of his rights. The most obvious is his right to liberty, but there are others as well. My personal take is that it's just fine with me if the penalty for certain crimes includes imprisonment, a fine, AND the forfeiture of the right to keep and bear arms. A person who commits armed robbery just once should never, ever be allowed to touch a firearm again, even after he's served his sentence. I also think that anyone who commits voter fraud should be forever stripped of their right to vote. I know, I'm a hard-ass in this respect, but it makes sense to me that the penalties for some crimes should be severe.

  12. If it is a hydostatic transmission it has safety switches on the fwd/rwd pedal. If this is slightly out of adjustment it can cause the same problem when trying to start.

  15. I'll leave the value judgement to others, but those who have committed crimes in the past don't deserve the trust that those of us who have been law-abiding enjoy. I doubt that many who are convicted of committing a crime are caught on their first offense, and recidivism statistics show that those who get our of jail are likely to reoffend.

  17. I tell you, certain types of people go into politics and they usually are of the lowliest variety. The Governor of TN has proven he is not an exception to this rule. So sad. It's unfortunate we have to keep voting for things we are not suppose to vote for, such as our civil rights and liberties. Someone needs to let Governor Lee know that the Bill of Rights is not merely a fun story used for entertainment or a museum artifact. It is the laws that makes our nation what it is and separates us from the fascist and authoritarian regimes around the world. But, many of these politicians yearn to be dictators themselves and these rights are just obstacles in their path. I actually have more respect for an anti-gun Democrat who is honest about his/her views than a phony RINO pretending to be pro-Liberty and supportive of our rights so they can extort votes from us.

  18. Taylor thinks we are all incapable of enjoying the natural rights enshrined in our Constitutions...not only did he kill the long gun carry, but the removal of the criminal intent to go armed.
