  2. Woke up Monday morning with my truck sitting on my chest. Woke my wife and told her I think I am having an attack. She called 911 took the ambulance 20 minutes to get to my house. Ten minutes later I was on the road to Ascencion St Thomas in Murfreesboro. There about 20 minutes and was taken to Cath lab. Had a blood clot in one of my bypass arteries. Now heart muscle damage and am in heart failure with only 30% heart output (should be 50 to 75 % at my age) but finally home. Not feeling real bad but am somewhat weak. Will need serious rehab and rest. Heart muscle damage and in danger of several bad outcomes in the short time future. I got to get the weight off and watch diet plus take 3 different heart related new meds now and pray for the best. Consensus is, most probably caused by my bout with Coved about 2 months ago. Seems a lot of people who get the new strain of Coved are having blood clots shortly afterwards. Looking to an uphill climb at 76 now. My wife and girls are very glad I am home. Life is short guys. Hope you all are prepared for your demise, I am. I am a child of Jesus the Christ and live for HIM. I am sure my attack took place 5 minutes down the road to the Hospital and could tell the Paramedic was excited with trying to show it. Kept running heart strips all the way to the Hospital. Both my arms were tingling and almost useless, and I began sweeting profusely. I was not scared and was at total, peace, after my prayer, with whatever happened. Only way to be that way is to be a child of Jesus, guys. I did feel terrible concerning and sorrow for my wife because if worse came to worse she would be left alone. Think about eternity guys, please.

  4. Absolutely not. I have a single shot .22 that belonged to my Grandpa and I probably havent shot it a dozen times in 20 years. It has a permanent place in my gun case because no amount of money can buy those memories and that provenance

  7. While I owned several classics in the 60's and 70's ( think 55 Nomad and 57 Bel Air hardtop) my first taste of a true muscle car was a 69 Road Runner. Damn I loved that car!

  10. This gun almost looks new and only show subtle signs of use. Based on the low serial, it appears that this jewel IS ALL ORIGINAL, made in 1942 and it has what appears to be a stamped general motors barrel with INLAND MFG, 12-42. Please reach out with any questions that you may have.

  12. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I have the 1st rifle I ever shot. But I had to purchase my grandfathers entire collection from the "estate" to get it. 100% worth it

  13. Every new story I've read so far says they kicked the door in around 6am to serve a warrant for selling guns w/out proper paperwork. That sounds exactly like what the ATF would do. Rather than arrest him when he leaves the home, pull him over on the way to work, or arrest him at work, they chose the most violent, risky, and least intelligent means to their end.

  14. It’s not difficult to believe. Lots of guys on here have some serious collections. I don’t think it far fetched that most would be in like new condition. Despite differences that some of us my have, outside of my family and military buddies, these are some of the most honest people I’ve ever met. I normally purchase new, moderately priced guns in pairs. I’ve sold and purchased several that are exactly as described. Some guns get a magazine or two through them, and some don’t. I have some expensive guns in the safe that I just wanted, and they’ve never had a magazine inside them. The most important thing I’ve learned about buying or selling on here is to be honest. A good reputation makes it easy to do both. In most cases, if the sale were local, I’d almost always throw in something (ammo or accessories) for free. Good luck with your future sales or purchases!

  15. Sounds like your issue has more to do with pricing than believing someone's weapon has/hasn't been fired. To the latter there's a lot of good people on TGO and when I deal with someone I take them at their word. If they lie then they run the risk of being outed at the point we make the deal. Same for me if im the seller. To the former you're going to have to learn to look laugh and move on.

  16. Well, since communists deal in instilling fear, I believe everyday people will cease setting up at gun shows. Attendance will be down & many promotors will go out of business. I believe many will drop prices & liquidate their collections. I believe there will be arrests both at homes & gun shows to bolster their agenda, make examples. These tactics have been used in various states, especially the blue states. I hope I'm wrong & these unconstitutional "laws" are overturned. Some here have labeled President Trump a dictator, yeah right, there's a dictator & his minions in office now seeing to the destruction of our country.

  20. I got a Jeep gladiator in 2023. I have haven't been in the Studebaker since it got the Jeep. It's pushing a year. I took it out today to get gas and spray it off. It took more than hour because of the non English speaking individuals that want to take pictures. I got to hug some attractive Latino women. I'm convinced it's the only thing that can kill me it scares the hell out of me. I deleted 90% of what I had to say after this. Be good to you Wife and Kids. They will remember you. 22. Eh, I didn't see anyone get mad. We just obviously think you're wrong in this context. No offense meant of course, but you made a post to ask so... collectively, we answered. One extra cool thing about this place: If someone WAS trying to sell you used as NIB... you can report that. The community does its best to weed out dishonest folks.

  24. My boys and I are working on fixing this up. It's taken a lot longer than I'd hoped but we're getting there. My wife's granddad bought it new. While I was able to drive it across town to our house, we've had to do a lot of stuff to get it running reliably. Almost there. Trying to use it to teach them about wrenching. I'd love to put an LS in it, but just trying to get the 4.3 running well for now.

  30. Yep. I wonder how much prices in general are going to go up now due to this new hitch in the supply chain. I’m being a bit facetious, but also serious. Where do the boats with European ammo shipments land? Hope it’s not around there.

  32. I turned 67 on groundhogs day. I’ve dislocated both shoulders, broke left arm twice, skin graft on left hand from a fight with a FedEx conveyor belt, bone spur on left knee, gall bladder tried to kill me and was removed, 1 ruptured disk and 1 slipped disk and heart attack requiring 2 stints. Other than these minor issues I’m in pretty good shape. BS. If I were a horse they would have shot me years ago. Hope you’re on the mend! “ Getting old ain’t for sissies. “

  33. Up is a beautiful 686-4. An older model with the case hardened hammer/trigger. Newer models do not have this value add. The action is clean and crisp. This 686-4 had the trigger action tuned by Actions by “T” in Sugarland TX. Look him up! He has been rated one of the top pistol-smiths in the USA and specializes in revolver lock work. Timing checked and action tuned. Asking- $900.00 OBO. No trades at this time. I do not have the original grips. Buyer must show TN Carry Permit. Prefer established TGOer. FTF IN Fairview- Buyer must be legally able to own/buy firearms.

Comes with original zippered cased, 2 original mags and then 3 more mags complete with the aluminum DW baseplates. Not much more to say other than you won't be disappointed $1600, no trades considered Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

  36. Some folks are shooters and some folks are collectors. I have no problem believing it. Stamp collectors don’t lick every stamp they gather.

  37. I am one who does not have a lot of trouble believing it. I just counted and I have 34 guns right now. About 2 thirds of them I bought new. I have shot 3 of them. I just like collecting them. I used to be a class 3 dealer back in the 80's and had dozens of machine guns. I played with so many full autos that I am no longer much interested in firing an ordinary firearm. On top of that there is no convenient place to shoot around here. Your situation may be different.
