This gun almost looks new and only show subtle signs of use. Based on the low serial, it appears that this jewel IS ALL ORIGINAL, made in 1942 and it has what appears to be a stamped general motors barrel with INLAND MFG, 12-42. Please reach out with any questions that you may have.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. I have the 1st rifle I ever shot. But I had to purchase my grandfathers entire collection from the "estate" to get it. 100% worth it

Every new story I've read so far says they kicked the door in around 6am to serve a warrant for selling guns w/out proper paperwork. That sounds exactly like what the ATF would do. Rather than arrest him when he leaves the home, pull him over on the way to work, or arrest him at work, they chose the most violent, risky, and least intelligent means to their end.

It’s not difficult to believe. Lots of guys on here have some serious collections. I don’t think it far fetched that most would be in like new condition. Despite differences that some of us my have, outside of my family and military buddies, these are some of the most honest people I’ve ever met. I normally purchase new, moderately priced guns in pairs. I’ve sold and purchased several that are exactly as described. Some guns get a magazine or two through them, and some don’t. I have some expensive guns in the safe that I just wanted, and they’ve never had a magazine inside them. The most important thing I’ve learned about buying or selling on here is to be honest. A good reputation makes it easy to do both. In most cases, if the sale were local, I’d almost always throw in something (ammo or accessories) for free. Good luck with your future sales or purchases!

Sounds like your issue has more to do with pricing than believing someone's weapon has/hasn't been fired. To the latter there's a lot of good people on TGO and when I deal with someone I take them at their word. If they lie then they run the risk of being outed at the point we make the deal. Same for me if im the seller. To the former you're going to have to learn to look laugh and move on.

I got a Jeep gladiator in 2023. I have haven't been in the Studebaker since it got the Jeep. It's pushing a year. I took it out today to get gas and spray it off. It took more than hour because of the non English speaking individuals that want to take pictures. I got to hug some attractive Latino women. I am one who does not have a lot of trouble believing it. I just counted and I have 34 guns right now. About 2 thirds of them I bought new. I have shot 3 of them. I just like collecting them. I used to be a class 3 dealer back in the 80's and had dozens of machine guns. I played with so many full autos that I am no longer much interested in firing an ordinary firearm. On top of that there is no convenient place to shoot around here. Your situation may be different.

I have a very stressful job and I swear these Legos are very relaxing when building them. 2 years ago I got a Star Wars Tie Fighter Pilot Helmet and right now I am working on that. My boys and I are working on fixing this up. It's taken a lot longer than I'd hoped but we're getting there. My wife's granddad bought it new. While I was able to drive it across town to our house, we've had to do a lot of stuff to get it running reliably. Almost there. Trying to use it to teach them about wrenching. I'd love to put an LS in it, but just trying to get the 4.3 running well for now.

Got my second Thunder Ranch in from gunbroker and made the transfer tonight. This one is a Model 21-4 Thunder Ranch Special in .44 special, round butt with factory Ahrend grips, matched with a 22-4 Thunder Ranch Revolver in .45 acp square butt with Hogue grips. Both carried in Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancakes, black gator for .44 and tan leather for the .45.

I turned 67 on groundhogs day. I’ve dislocated both shoulders, broke left arm twice, skin graft on left hand from a fight with a FedEx conveyor belt, bone spur on left knee, gall bladder tried to kill me and was removed, 1 ruptured disk and 1 slipped disk and heart attack requiring 2 stints. I despise the mere existence of the ATF and think almost everything they do is illegitimate, however I'll let my hypocrisy show a little on these points: It's none of the AFT's business if I buy a gun for someone as a gift, but I do want it to be illegal to make straw purchases. I don't think every felony should keep someone from buying a gun, but I do want it to be illegal for violent felons to buy guns. I don't think smoking pot should keep you from buying a gun when people who drink alcohol are free to do so. I believe in "shall not be infringed", but I do want it to be illegal for crazy people, stalkers, and people with restraining orders against them to buy guns. I don't think illegals are entitled to any inalienable rights under our Constitution.

As the title says, I just received another slide back from DP Custom Works. I took an M&P 2.0 Compact, non optics slide and sent it off to Doug so that he could work his magic on it. I don't have many handguns left that aren't running a dot optic, and this takes care of one more of them. This time I went with his M&P EDC slide milling package and added top cocking serrations and an optic cut for the Holosun 407K / EPS footprint and had him re-finish the whole thing in fresh new Melonite. This is the fourth slide that I have had Doug work on and the quality of the work is impeccable, as always. The gun is wearing a Holosun EPS MRS, which is the fuller sized EPS variant with dual fuel (battery and solar) and automatic adjustment for ambient light. Iron sights are a set of Ameriglo that I already had on the gun; Doug reinstalled them after re-finishing the slide.

It seems the fellow WAS doing business without a license. At least, what he was doing was very sketchy. That said, ATF once again proved that they love to turn a simple arrest into a firefight. When I first joined this site, I only owned a handful of guns, only what I needed and they'd all been fired a lot. I was a impressed to learn how many people on here had collections of firearms, not just necessities. I thought they must be millionaires, LOL. As I've come to realize time/age is a more of a factor to the size of the collection than wealth. I'm not wealthy by any stretch, but over the past 20+ years my collection has grown. I now see how easy it is to have unfired LNIB guns.

Some folks are shooters and some folks are collectors. I have no problem believing it. Stamp collectors don’t lick every stamp they gather.
