  1. Woke up Monday morning with my truck sitting on my chest. Woke my wife and told her I think I am having an attack. She called 911 took the ambulance 20 minutes to get to my house. Ten minutes later I was on the road to Ascencion St Thomas in Murfreesboro. There about 20 minutes and was taken to Cath lab. Had a blood clot in one of my bypass arteries. Now heart muscle damage and am in heart failure with only 30% heart output (should be 50 to 75 % at my age) but finally home. Not feeling real bad but am somewhat weak. Will need serious rehab and rest. Heart muscle damage and in danger of several bad outcomes in the short time future. I got to get the weight off and watch diet plus take 3 different heart related new meds now and pray for the best. Consensus is, most probably caused by my bout with Coved about 2 months ago. Seems a lot of people who get the new strain of Coved are having blood clots shortly afterwards. Looking to an uphill climb at 76 now. My wife and girls are very glad I am home. Life is short guys. Hope you all are prepared for your demise, I am. I am a child of Jesus the Christ and live for HIM. I am sure my attack took place 5 minutes down the road to the Hospital and could tell the Paramedic was excited with trying to show it. Kept running heart strips all the way to the Hospital. Both my arms were tingling and almost useless, and I began sweeting profusely. I was not scared and was at total, peace, after my prayer, with whatever happened. Only way to be that way is to be a child of Jesus, guys. I did feel terrible concerning and sorrow for my wife because if worse came to worse she would be left alone. Think about eternity guys, please.

  4. Hello! I liquidating my gun collection after many many years of gathering up cool things. I am located in Nashville (TN). Let me know if you are interested. I also have loads of ammo that I am selling. I will post at 75 to 80% GB prices (that is how I priced these) and as they wait to sell, I will drop the prices a few times until they are gone. So check back. I am not positive as to what things are worth locally, but I set everything as better than GB. Also, I will work with you if you buy more. 5. Well, since communists deal in instilling fear, I believe everyday people will cease setting up at gun shows. Attendance will be down & many promotors will go out of business. I believe many will drop prices & liquidate their collections. I believe there will be arrests both at homes & gun shows to bolster their agenda, make examples. These tactics have been used in various states, especially the blue states. I hope I'm wrong & these unconstitutional "laws" are overturned. Some here have labeled President Trump a dictator, yeah right, there's a dictator & his minions in office now seeing to the destruction of our country.

  6. Up is a beautiful 686-4. An older model with the case hardened hammer/trigger. Newer models do not have this value add. The action is clean and crisp. This 686-4 had the trigger action tuned by Actions by “T” in Sugarland TX. Look him up! He has been rated one of the top pistol-smiths in the USA and specializes in revolver lock work. Timing checked and action tuned. Asking- $900.00 OBO. No trades at this time. I do not have the original grips. Buyer must show TN Carry Permit. Prefer established TGOer. FTF IN Fairview- Buyer must be legally able to own/buy firearms.

  8. I don't care for this. Not for the "gun" reason, but because it puts these sellers at an unfair advantage over licensed dealers. These folks don't have to purchase an FFL, business license, mess with all the bound book keeping, or charge sales tax.

  11. Smith & Wesson 29-5 4" 44 Magnum Aside from the turn line on the cylinder it's in great shape despite being handled a fair amount over the years. I'd guess I've put a couple hundred rounds through it, nothing crazy. The grips are in good shape but there is some cosmetic wear near the bottom on both sides. Never had any problems with it - just decided to pair things down a little. It'll come with this here Galco OWB holster. Don't have the original box/papers - just the gun & holster. My wife would certainly prefer that I sell it but I might be open to swapping for hell, I don't know, something. 9mm, 223/556, full sized AKs, etc I'm in Manchester but travel through Murfreesboro and Nashville several times per week. Be happy to meet anywhere there or in between. $1000 Thanks, fellas.

  12. I don’t personally go to gun shows. It’s been at least 12-15 years since I have been. Now from what I hear, it’s mostly guys who are charging moon bucks for dirt road stuff, or ATF agents. Gun Shows in general have lost their “luster” or appeal for me. The issue I have with the latest infringement is the wide variable interpretation of “earning a profit”. I’ve had friends with ads on other sites that have received emails from ATF explaining their definition change. Basically a threatening email. This will be the new normal. It will only get worse with another FJB term. Still worse but at a slower rate if Trump gets another term. I for one am sick of old rich people making decisions that affect normal working people.

  13. So have you ever just been SO excited about a potential new hobby that you tell all your family? Being good people they want to help you pursue your new passion. They really don't know where to buy the stuff, but they try. Isn't that important part? Then you realize that the equipment for your other 42 hobbies pretty much prevents you from adding anything else. Or the wife says that anyway. About the time you realize (are told) this, work does it's best to suck out your soul by trippling the workload and reducing manpower. So another nail in the coffin of a new hobby. Then the final nail pounds in when you realize just how crazy it is having 2 kids in college. I mean, I know I am not the only one here that fits this situation. Well short story long. this leaves me holding some Dick's Sporting Goods gift cards that I am not going to let myself use. Yeah, I decided that all on my own. really..... I figure someone on here looking for golf, Kayak. Yeti. or other sports gear might find them more useful. I mean even if you don't like the store, the cash is already spent. Not like you are giving them anything. Maybe you already have a purchase in mind anyway. Stanley mugs anyone? So here is a chance to save some on that next sporty purchase if you read this far.. I have cards totaling $609.23. I would take $550 shipped for them. Or I can just provide you the card numbers to use online. These also work on the Public Lands website from my understanding. Might be open to some pretty limited partial trades, but like I said, space is part of the issue here. Question? PM me please. That way this thread doesn't get longer than it already is.

  19. Rifles costing 3 times as much as the M4/M16, and ammo costing 4 times as much as 5.56mm M855. And we're seeing ammo shortages now as woke military budgets get spent on climate and diversity. All to achieve better armor penetration and range. Basically, recreating performance of the .30-06 AP.

  20. I've been shooting 1911s for a lot of years. Even shot IDPA with one for about 12 years. Lots of companies make decent range mags. Metalform makes Colt's factory mags and they're cheaper straight from their website. I traded into a batch of Ed Brown mags a while back and they seem to be good. Mec-Gar is known to make good stuff. But the only mags I'll use for carry or competition is Wilson Combat. The toughest and most reliable 1911 magazines you can get. They ain't cheap, but they're worth it.

  21. I've heard rumors and seen a couple of clips. Unsure if it'll be any good, but I'll probably see it. If you're interested in that sort of thing, I highly recommend Kurt Schlichter's Kelly Turnbull/People's Republic series of novels. Great stories that could actually happen.

  22. Been though that twice Pop-pop and it's been by the grace of Jesus that I have made it this long. I have aged a lot faster since the opened me up the second time but I expected it as I'm 75 and drove my body hard for 35+ years on my life. I live alone except my old hound but the EMT's all know that there is no heroics during transport to the hospital. I trust Jesus with all my heart to do what is right.

  23. I’m a huge fan of hockey tape. It’s cheap, and it’s effective. Basically all my guns get wrapped in it now if they’re gonna get used off of an indoor range. Since we are talking about shotguns here, I’ll share a pic of my 1301.

  24. Lord, thank you for sparing pop pop! There is so much sorrow from brothers and sisters in Christ leaving sooner than expected. We know You are coming soon for the whole family of God and we praise you for those who remain that they may complete Your purpose for which they are created. You are a wonderful, merciful Lord and Savior!

  27. This smallbore is not boring one bit! As I began shooting the TX22, it preferred three out of seven brands of ammo, but accuracy improved with all but one as the gun got down and dirty. Best groups were with Remy Golden Bullet and CCI Blazer. I would say Aguila Super Extra came in third. The best news is that there was not one hiccup or failure! The pistol felt great in the hand and pointed naturally. It earns my double thumbs up opinion!
