  1. 110g is mostly what i have. i also load some soft point. Just wondering how it would perform on small game or maby some larger if needed. As far as felt recoil from an M-1 i think a 2 year old could handle it.
  2. I agree this is a great idea. Our Zaxby’s in Elizabethton changed hands and had a sign go up. It is behind the counter and out of the way, as best as I can tell by the law it’s not legal anyway. Legal or not the way I look at it they don’t want my business. I talked to the manager she told me it was there new owners idea. I have not been back. My wife recently went to a local Mexican restaurant (El Charolais) she told me it was posted now. I have not been back. What I plan on doing is writing a letter to them. In addition I plan on having all my friends send the same letter with their own names on them. Drop them off at your gun ranges, gun stores, or any other gun friendly places. Kind of like a petition. If large groups of people will stick together we can change the minds behind these establishments. One person might not get the jewelry stores attention but 200-300 will. Our little town started with one, we now have two, soon……. Like Barney said “NIP-IT, NIP-IT, NIP-ITâ€
  3. I was looking at my Hornady manual (8th edition) and it shows a 90g XTP bullet. Has anyone tried this? Looks like you can push it to 2300 fps. It shows diameter to be .309? I am not trying to get into what might be a better caliber. I have 2 small kids and this one is lighter than my lightweight AR. Its small compact and just fun to shoot! .30 M-1 Inland
  4. Found a long gun in state but the guy said he would have to ship to an FFL. After i pay the fees it's not really worth the price. i was thinking you could do a person to person in state, but cant find what the law actually says about it! Does anyone know or have that info i can to him? Tried google did'nt find any difinitive answers.
  5. Does anyone know if one can ship a long gun in state wothout going thru an ffl. I know you can ship to yourself, but how about to someone else?
  6. As soon as I get my 4&6 year olds out of the house..... till then i guess i will be in the out building. For now the house is for Barbie dolls and matchbox cars. To ashamed to post pics.
  7. Drove to Anniston myself well worth the trip (6 hrs.). Had my rifles shipped back. If you are LEO or a Firefighter you also qualify. Still have to have firearms training for the latter though.
